The Godfather (wrestler)
Charles Wright (born May 16, 1961), better known under his ring name The Godfather, is an American professional wrestler. He is best known for his tenure with the World Wrestling Federation throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, and underwent several gimmick changes; the most notable were Papa Shango, Kama, Kama Mustafa, The Godfather and The Goodfather. Among other accolades, Wright is a two-time USWA Unified World Heavyweight Champion, a one-time WWF Intercontinental Champion, and a one-time WWF World Tag Team Champion (with Bull Buchanan). Charles Frederick Wright
Charles Frederick Wright (May 3, 1856 – November 10, 1925) was a Republican member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Pennsylvania. Charles F. Wright (brother of Myron Benjamin Wright) was born in Forest Lake Township, Pennsylvania. He graduated from the Montrose Academy in 1874, and worked as a teller for the First National Bank of Montrose, Pennsylvania, 1875–1881. He was an assistant cashier, cashier, and president of the First National Bank of Susquehanna Depot from 1882 to 1899. He was a delegate to the Republican National Conventions in 1896, 1904, and 1908. Wright was elected as a Republican to the Fifty-sixth, Fifty-seventh, and Fifty-eighth Congresses. He was the chairman of the United States House Committee on Expenditures in the Department of Agriculture during the Fifty-eighth Congress. He was not a candidate for renomination in 1904. Chuck Wright
Chuck Wright (born September 13, 1959) is an American bassist, best known as a member of the hard rock/heavy metal band Quiet Riot. He originally joined Quiet Riot in 1982, playing bass on the tracks " Metal Health (Bang Your Head)" and "Don't Wanna Let You Go," as well as singing background vocals on all tracks from the 1983 album ''Metal Health''. Throughout the 80s and 90s, Wright left and rejoined Quiet Riot multiple times, most recently rejoining in August 2005 for their "Rock Never Stops" tour and staying until the death of lead singer Kevin DuBrow in October 2007. After a three-year hiatus, the band reformed with a new lead vocalist and began touring again in 2010. Charles George Wright (born 11 December 1938) is a former professional footballer and manager. Born in Scotland. He gained the name "wonder boy" after a great trial game for Morton against Queens Park (B Division 1955/56). He continued with his juvenile team Glentyan Thistle, playing in the Lord Weir Cup Final at Cathkin Park in June 1956. Sir Charles Theodore Hagberg Wright, LL.D. (17 November 1862, Middleton Tyas, Yorkshire – 7 March 1940 in London) was the Secretary and Librarian of the London Library from 1893 until his death. Charles "Specs" Wright (September 8, 1927 - February 6, 1963) was an American jazz drummer born in Philadelphia. Wright played drums in an Army band until his discharge in 1947. Following this he played in a group with Jimmy Heath and Howard McGhee. In 1949 he joined Dizzy Gillespie's band alongside John Coltrane, remaining until it disbanded in mid-1950. Later in 1950 he was a member of Gillespie's sextet with Coltrane, Jimmy Heath, Percy Heath, and Milt Jackson. In the 1950s, Wright played with Earl Bostic, Kenny Drew, Cannonball Adderley, Art Blakey, and Carmen McRae, and gigged locally in Philadelphia. He was with Hank Mobley in 1958 with his septet alongside Billy Root, Curtis Fuller, Ray Bryant, Tommy Bryant, and Lee Morgan. Following this Wright played with Sonny Rollins, Betty Carter, Red Garland, Coleman Hawkins, and Lambert, Hendricks and Ross. He died in 1963. Charles Romley Alder Wright FCS, FRS (7 September 1844 – 25 June 1894) was an English lecturer in chemistry and physics at St Mary's Hospital Medical School in London, England. Charles Ichabod Wright (18 September 1828 – 9 May 1905) was a British banker and Conservative politician who sat in the House of Commons from 1868 to 1870. Wright was born at Bramcote, Nottinghamshire the son of the scholar Ichabod Charles Wright and his wife Theodosia Denman. He was educated at Windlesham House School, Eton College and Christ Church, Oxford.
