Charlie Wright
Charles George Wright (born 11 December 1938) is a former professional footballer and manager. Born in Scotland. He gained the name "wonder boy" after a great trial game for Morton against Queens Park (B Division 1955/56). He continued with his juvenile team Glentyan Thistle, playing in the Lord Weir Cup Final at Cathkin Park in June 1956. He was signed by junior team Glencairn Thistle to serve an apprenticeship before moving to Rangers. Wright was caretaker manager and then manager of Bolton Wanderers in the 1984–85 season. His first game as full-time manager was a 2–0 win against Plymouth Argyle. Phil Neal
Philip George Neal (born 20 February 1951) is an English retired footballer who played for Northampton Town, Liverpool and Bolton Wanderers as a full back. He is one of the most successful English players of all time, having won seven First Divisions, four League Cups, five FA Charity Shields, four European Cups, one UEFA Cup and one UEFA Super Cup during his eleven years at Liverpool. He later returned to Bolton Wanderers as manager, leading them to victory in the Football League Trophy before spells managing Coventry City, Cardiff City and Manchester City. Neal also had a long career with the England national team, winning 50 caps and playing in the 1982 World Cup. He would go on to be England's assistant manager under Graham Taylor.
