Charles Oliver (1646 – 13 April 1706) was an Irish landowner. Charles Arthur Richardson Oliver (actually registered as "Charles Arthur Sherlock Oliver"; 21 June 1907, in Buttevant, County Cork, Ireland – 29 March 1983, in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, England) was a British film actor. Charles Silver Oliver (c. 1765–70 – 10 October 1817) was an Irish landowner, the son of Silver Oliver, Member of Parliament for Kilmallock. Charles Silver Oliver was married on 3 June 1805 to Maria Elizabeth, daughter of Abraham Morris. He was Sheriff of County Limerick in 1791, ''Sovereign'' (Irish office of Chief of a municipal government) of Kilmallock from 1796 to 1800, and Member of Parliament for Kilmallock from 1798 until he was appointed Escheator of Munster on 15 May 1799. Through Lord Clare's influence, Oliver represented County Limerick in the United Kingdom House of Commons from 1802 to 1806, though he was not a frequent attender. Charlie Oliver (rugby Union)
Charles Joshua Oliver (1 November 1905 – 25 September 1977) was a New Zealand rugby union international who also represented his country in first-class cricket. Cricket career Wanganui-born Oliver played as a specialist right-handed batsman and from 35 first-class matches scored 1301 runs at 23.23, with a best of 91. He represented Canterbury in domestic cricket, having debuted for them in the 1923/24 Plunket Shield. In the 1925/26 season he was a member of the New Zealand side which toured Australia and he made half-centuries against Victoria and South Australia. He also toured the British Isles in 1927 with the national side. He claimed the only wicket of his first-class career during this tour, that of Sussex bowler Reginald Hollingdale. Cecil Thompson "Charlie" Oliver AM (23 December 1901 – 24 February 1990) was an Australian trade unionist and politician. He was a Labor Party member of the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia from 1948 to 1951, representing the seat of Boulder, and was later prominent in the labour movement in New South Wales as the state secretary (1951–1978) and state president (1980–1985) of the Australian Workers' Union. Charles William Corrigan Oliver (born 17 November 1997) is an English semi-professional footballer who plays for club F.C. United of Manchester as a defender. Oliver is a product of the Manchester City Academy and began his professional career with the club. Following loan spells with Fleetwood Town and Brentford, he dropped into non-League football in 2019. Career Manchester City A defender, Oliver joined the Manchester City Academy at the age of 8.
