Charles Silver Oliver
Charles Silver Oliver (c. 1765–70 – 10 October 1817) was an Irish landowner, the son of Silver Oliver, Member of Parliament for Kilmallock. Charles Silver Oliver was married on 3 June 1805 to Maria Elizabeth, daughter of Abraham Morris. He was Sheriff of County Limerick in 1791, ''Sovereign'' (Irish office of Chief of a municipal government) of Kilmallock from 1796 to 1800, and Member of Parliament for Kilmallock from 1798 until he was appointed Escheator of Munster on 15 May 1799. Through Lord Clare's influence, Oliver represented County Limerick in the United Kingdom House of Commons from 1802 to 1806, though he was not a frequent attender. Silver Oliver (died 1798)
The Rt. Hon. Silver Oliver PC (1736 – 21 November 1798) was an Irish landowner and Privy Counsellor politician who owned Castle Oliver in County Limerick, Ireland. Early life He was the son of Jane Katherine (née Silver) Oliver and Robert Oliver, who also sat in the Irish House of Commons for Kilmallock. His paternal grandfather was Robert Oliver (son of Charles Oliver who lived at Clonodfoy, County Limerick) and was also an Irish MP for Kilmallock and County Limerick. Career He held the office of Member of Parliament for Kilmallock in 1757. He held the office of High Sheriff of County Limerick in 1764. He held the office of Member of Parliament for County Limerick in 1768, serving until 1776. In 1769, he was appointed Privy Councillor. The 1806 United Kingdom general election was the election of members to the 3rd Parliament of the United Kingdom. This was the second general election to be held after the Acts of Union 1800, Union of Great Britain and Ireland. The general election took place in a situation of considerable uncertainty about the future of British politics, following the sudden death of William Pitt the Younger and the formation of the Ministry of all the Talents. The second United Kingdom Parliament was dissolved on 24 October 1806. The new Parliament was summoned to meet on 13 December 1806, for a maximum seven-year term from that date. Staker Wallace
Patrick "Staker" Wallace (1733 - 1798) was a United Irishman, perhaps born at Teermore, in Bulgaden-Ballinvana parish of County Limerick, Ireland, near the town of Kilfinane. He achieved some fame as an Irish patriot when he was brutally executed for independence activities by a pro-British nobleman in 1798. Name Most commonly known as Staker Wallace or The Staker, his first name was most likely Patrick. His nickname was given to him after his death. Some sources give his first name as William or Edmond (Edmund), but these are less likely than Patrick. In her 1909 book about her ancestor, Eunice Graham Brandt referred to Staker as William. After being beheaded, his head was put on a stake for everyone to see. Thus, Staker Wallace. The monument in his honour in Martinstown, Limerick, refers to him as Edmond. John FitzGibbon, 2nd Earl of Clare KP GCH PC (10 July 1792 – 18 August 1851) was an Anglo Irish aristocrat and politician. Early life FitzGibbon was born on 10 July 1792. He was the eldest son of John FitzGibbon, 1st Earl of Clare and his wife, the former Anne Whaley. He had two siblings, the Hon. Richard Hobart FitzGibbon (who later became the 3rd Earl of Clare), and Lady Isabella Mary Anne FitzGibbon.
