	Chippenham (UK Parliament Constituency) Chippenham is a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom since 2015 by Michelle Donelan, a Conservative, who also currently serves as Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport. The 2010 constituency includes the Wiltshire towns of Bradford on Avon, Chippenham, Corsham and Melksham. A parliamentary borough of Chippenham was enfranchised in 1295. It sent two burgesses to Parliament until 1868 and one thereafter until the borough constituency was abolished in 1885. There was a county division constituency named after the town of Chippenham from 1885 to 1983, when the name of that constituency was changed to North Wiltshire. Following the 2003–2005 review into parliamentary representation in Wiltshire, the Boundary Commission created a new county constituency, reviving the name of Chippenham as a seat. 	Charles Maynard, 1st Viscount Maynard Charles Maynard, 1st Viscount Maynard (c. 1690 – 30 June 1775), styled Charles Maynard between 1699 and 1745 and known as The Lord Maynard between 1745 and 1766, was a British peer. He served as Lord-Lieutenant of Suffolk between 1763 and 1769. Maynard was the son of Banastre Maynard, 3rd Baron Maynard, and Lady Elizabeth de Grey, daughter of Henry Grey, 10th Earl of Kent. He succeeded his elder brother in the barony in 1745. In 1763 he was appointed Lord-Lieutenant of Suffolk, a post he held until 1769. 	Charles Johnson Maynard Charles Johnson Maynard (May 6, 1845 – October 15, 1929) was an American naturalist and ornithologist born in Newton, Massachusetts. He was a collector, a taxidermist, and an expert on the vocal organs of birds. In addition to birds, he also studied mollusks, moss, gravestones and insects. He lived in the house at 459 Crafts Street in Newton, Massachusetts, built in 1897 and included in the National Register of Historic Places in 1996 as the Charles Maynard House. The Charles Johnson Maynard Award is given out by the Newton Conservators, Inc. Biography Charles Johnson Maynard was born in Newton, Massachusetts on May 6, 1845 to Samuel Maynard and Emeline Sanger. He left school at the age of 16 to help out on the family farm.
