Charles Henry Sherlock
Charles Henry Sherlock (born 1945) is an Australian theologian who previously taught at Ridley College and Trinity College in Melbourne. He is a former registrar of the Melbourne College of Divinity (now the University of Divinity). He is author of ''The Doctrine of Humanity'' in InterVarsity Press's "Contours of Christian Theology" series, ''God on the Inside'' (Acorn), ''Uncovering Theology: the depth, scope and utility of Australian theological education'' (ATF), ''Performing the Gospel on liturgy and lifestyle'' (Broughton) and more. He was a member of the Anglican–Roman Catholic International Commission for 26 years. He was the last editor of the Anglican newspaper '' Church Scene'', from 1995 to 1997. Ridley College, formerly known as Ridley Melbourne, is a Christian theological college in the parklands of central Melbourne in the Australian state of Victoria. Peta Sherlock
Peta Sherlock (born Peta Robin Sproule) (1946-) is an Australian Anglican priest who was formerly Dean of the Anglican Diocese of Bendigo at St Paul's Anglican Cathedral, Bendigo. She was one of the first women ordained as an Anglican deacon in 1986 then as an Anglican priest in 1992 and the first woman Dean of an Anglican diocese in Australia. ''Hard Quiz'' is an Australian television comedy quiz show which premiered on the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) on 19 October 2016. Hosted by Tom Gleeson, the show is a spin-off of his "Hard Chat" segment on the satirical television news program ''The Weekly with Charlie Pickering''. Meccano
Meccano is a brand of scale model, model construction system created in 1898 by Frank Hornby in Liverpool, England. The system consists of reusable metal strips, plates, Structural steel#Common structural shapes, angle girders, wheels, axles and gears, and plastic parts that are connected using nut (hardware), nuts and bolt (fastener), bolts. It enables the building of working models and mechanical devices. In 1913, a very similar construction set was introduced in the United States under the brand name Erector Set, Erector. Peter Sherlock
Peter Sherlock (born 26 October 1972) is an Australian academic and inaugural Vice-Chancellor of the University of Divinity in Melbourne, a role he has held since 2012. He specialises in the cultural history of Renaissance and Reformation Europe, and is a recognised authority on historic monuments. Education Sherlock completed a MA in history at the University of Melbourne. He held a Commonwealth Scholarship at Corpus Christi College, Oxford from 1997 to 2000. Trinity College Theological School (TCTS) is an educational division of Australia's Trinity College, the oldest residential college of the University of Melbourne. The Order of Australia is an honour that recognises Australian citizens and other persons for outstanding achievement and service. It was established on 14 February 1975 by Elizabeth II, Queen of Australia, on the advice of the Australian Government. Before the establishment of the order, Australian citizens received British honours.
