Charles T. Courtney Jr. (July 23, 1930 – January 20, 2000) was an American actor and stuntman perhaps best known for his portrayal of Dan Reid Jr., the Lone Ranger's nephew, in the television version of ''The Lone Ranger''. Courtney's mother, Elizabeth Courtney, was a costume designer at Columbia. Courtney first played Reid in ''The Lone Ranger'' in 1950. Between then and 1955, he made 13 more appearances in that role. He appeared in films and television series' such as '' The Virginian'', ''Pet Sematary'', ''The Wild Wild West'', ''Rio Lobo'', ''Wagon Train'', ''The Cowboys'', '' Billy the Kid Versus Dracula'' and ''Star Trek ''Star Trek'' is an American science fiction media franchise created by Gene Roddenberry, which began with the eponymous 1960s television series and quickly became a worldwide pop-culture phenomenon. Chuck Courtney (golfer)
Charles Courtney (born October 11, 1940) is an American professional golfer who played on the PGA Tour in the 1960s and 1970s. Courtney was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota and raised in San Diego, California. He attended San Diego State University, where he was a three-time All-American as a member of the golf team: second team in 1960 and 1961, first team in 1962. Courtney turned professional in 1963. For more than a decade, he played on the PGA Tour, where he had two wins and more than two dozen top-10 finishes. He was the head professional at Rancho Santa Fe Golf Club in Rancho Santa Fe, California for two decades starting in 1983. He is now golf professional emeritus. He was inducted into the San Diego State University Athletics Hall of Fame in 1991. Charles Courtney Curran
Charles Courtney Curran (13 February 1861 – 9 November 1942) was an American painter. He is best known for his canvases depicting women in various settings. Biography Curran was born in Hartford, Kentucky in February, 1861, where his father taught at the school. A few months later after the beginning of the Civil War, the family left there and returned to Ohio, eventually settling in Sandusky on the shores of Lake Erie where the elder Curran served as superintendent of schools. Charles Curran showed an early interest and aptitude for art, and in 1881 went to Cincinnati to study at the McMicken School (later the Fine Arts Academy of Cincinnati). He stayed there only a year before going to New York to study at the National Academy of Design and the Art Students League. Many of the pictures he created during this period featured young attractive working-class women engaged in a variety of tasks.
