Charles Alain, Prince Of Guéméné
Charles Alain de Rohan (Charles Alain Gabriel; 18 January 1764 – 24 April 1836) was a French nobleman and Prince of Guéméné. He died without any surviving descendants as his daughter died without children. Biography Born on 18 January 1764 at the Palace of Versailles, he was baptised the same day. He was the son of Henri Louis de Rohan and his distant cousin Victoire de Rohan. His mother was governess to the children of Marie Antoinette and Louis XVI; she was succeeded by Madame de Polignac. After his parents became disgraced with his fathers debts, the family moved from Versailles and had to sell their famous townhouse, the Parisian Hôtel de Rohan-Guémené. He married Louise Aglaé de Conflans d'Armentieres at the Église Saint-Sulpice in Paris on 29 May 1781 and had one daughter, Berthe, who would later marry her uncle the Duke of Bouillon. Prince Of Guéméné
Prince of Guémené is a title of French nobility associated with the fiefdom of Guémené-sur-Scorff in Brittany and held within the House of Rohan. The fiefdom was bought on 26 May 1377, for 3,400 ''Sou (coin), sous d'or'' by Jean de Rohan, Viscount of Rohan. From his second marriage to Jeanne de Navarre (daughter of Philip III of Navarre) the couple had two children; the eldest Alain became the Viscount of Rohan. That branch became extinct in 1527. The younger child, Charles, was given the fiefdom of Guémené. Charles was the founder of the Guémené line of the House of Rohan. Anne Thérèse of Savoy (1 November 1717 – 5 April 1745) was a Savoyard princess born in Paris, France. She was the second wife of Charles de Rohan, Prince de Soubise, a military leader and friend of Louis XV. She was also a first half-cousin of Louis sharing the same grandfather Victor Amadeus II of Sardinia. Charles de Rohan (16 July 17151 July 1787), Prince of Soubise, Duke of Rohan-Rohan, Seigneur of Roberval, and Marshal of France from 1758, was a soldier, and minister to kings Louis XV and Louis XVI. He was the last male of his branch of the House of Rohan, and was great-grandfather to the Duke of Enghien, executed by Napoleon in 1804. Styled ''Prince d'Epinoy'' at birth, he became the Prince of Soubise after 1749. Jules de Rohan (Jules Hercule Mériadec; 25 March 1726 – 10 December 1800) was Prince of Guéméné. Born in Paris, he died in Carlsbourg. Marie Louise de La Tour d'Auvergne (Marie Louise Henriette Jeanne; 15 August 1725 Р1793) was a French noblewoman and member of the House of La Tour d'Auvergne.
