Charlene Lipsey (born July 16, 1991) is an American middle-distance runner who specializes in the 800 metres. She competed in the women's 800 metres at the 2017 World Championships in Athletics. Professional Charlene Lipsey signed with Adidas in 2013 and trained at LSU until Fall 2016. Lipsey moved to train with Philadelphia based Juventus Running Club and coach Derek Thompson. DyeStat
DyeStat was a website self-described as "The Internet Home of High School Track & Field". It was founded in 1998 by John Dye, and featured his wife (Donna Dye) as the features editor, senior editor Steve Underwood, assistant editor Dave Devine, two California co-editors (Rich Gonzalez, Doug Speck) and one business/marketing manager (Kirsten Leetch). The site listed many of the best times for both Cross Country and Track & Field on the high school level, while also covering most state and national championships. It was often used as a source for ranking and other statistics by journalists. DyeStat also featured forums for athletes to discuss running. Kate Van Buskirk (born June 9, 1987 in Brampton, Ontario) is a Canadian cross-country and track runner, with 18 years National Team experience. She won bronze for Canada at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in the 1500 m. She began hosting and producing ''The Shakeout Podcast'' in 2018, for ''Canadian Running'', and was named as an Athlete Director of Athletics Canada, in August 2019. Cory Ann McGee (born May 29, 1992) is an American professional middle distance runner and Olympian from Pass Christian, Mississippi. At the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games she finished 12th in the 1500-meters. She was the 2011 Pan American U20 Champion and 2011 USA Juniors Outdoor Champion in the 1500-meters. In May 2022 she ran a personal best of 4:00.34 in the 1500-meters to move to 16th place on the US fastest all-time list. Sara Vaughn (born May 16, 1986) is an American middle-distance runner. Sara placed 18th in the women's 1500 metres at the 2017 World Championships in Athletics. Vaughn placed 10th in 2012 IAAF World Indoor Championships – Women's 1500 metres at the 2012 IAAF World Indoor Championships. Sir Walter Miler
The Sir Walter Miler is an outdoor one mile race held annually at Meredith College in Raleigh North Carolina, typically the first Friday in August. The race is named after Sir Walter Raleigh. It is directed and promoted by Sir Walter Running, a Raleigh-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. A hallmark of the race is the close proximity of fans to the track, as spectators gather on the infield and in the outer lanes of the track to watch the races. Raevyn Rogers (born September 7, 1996) is an American middle-distance athlete. She won a bronze medal in the 800 meters at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, becoming the fourth fastest woman in U.S. history in the event. At the 2019 World Championships, Rogers came from seventh with 100m remaining in the race to place silver over USA teammate Ajeé Wilson in bronze. She earned a world indoor title as a member of national 4x400 m relay squad that took gold at the 2018 World Indoor Championships.
