Chappa Kurishu
''Chaappa Kurish'' ( ml, ചാപ്പാ കുരിശ്, en, Heads or Tails) is a 2011 Indian Malayalam-language chase thriller film co-written and directed by Sameer Thahir and starring Vineeth Sreenivasan, Fahadh Faasil, Roma Asrani, Remya Nambeesan and Nivetha Thomas in the lead roles. The film started production in April 2011 at Kochi and released on 14 July. The film is the directorial debut of Thahir. The film was remade in Tamil as ''Pulivaal'' with Vimal and Prasanna. The film is loosely based on the 2009 South Korean film '' Handphone'' with reported structural similarity to the 2002 movie '' Changing Lanes''. The film did extremely well at box office and was a trendsetter for upcoming movies. Sameer Thahir
Sameer C. Thahir ISC (born 7 November 1976) is an Indian cinematographer, screenwriter, and film director and producer who works mainly in the Malayalam cinema while also having worked in a few Tamil films. He is a graduate of Maharajas College, Ernakulam, and it is there that he began nurturing his passion for photography and cinema. From photography to wedding videos to ad films and then on to features, it was a gradual but steady climb. He began his career assisting his mentors, fellow ISC members Amal Neerad and Rajeev Ravi. Prasanna Venkatesan, often credited mononymously as Prasanna, is an Indian actor who works predominantly in the Tamil cinema, Tamil film industry and alongside appeared in a few Telugu language, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam films. ''Traffic'' is a 2016 Indian Hindi-language road thriller film directed by Rajesh Pillai. It is a remake of the 2011 Malayalam film of same name. Originally written by brothers Bobby and Sanjay, the film's screenplay has been adapted into Hindi by Suresh Nair, while the dialogues were penned by Piyush Mishra. The cinematography is by Santhosh Thundiyil and Anishlal R S, music is by Mithoon.
