Channing Dungey
Channing Nicole Dungey (born March 14, 1969) is an American television executive and the first black American president of a major broadcast television network. In 2020, she was announced as the new chairwoman and CEO of Warner Bros. Television Studios. Early life Dungey was born in Sacramento, California, to Don and Judith Dungey. She is the oldest of two daughters; her younger sister is actress Merrin Dungey. Dungey attended Rio Americano High School where she was a cheerleader and held a 2.4 GPA. She graduated in 1986. In 1991, Dungey graduated from the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television. Career Dungey began her career in entertainment as a development assistant for producers J. Todd Harris and Joseph M. Singer. ''Nashville'' is an American musical soap opera television series. It was created by Callie Khouri and produced by R. J. Cutler, Khouri, Dee Johnson, and Steve Buchanan through season four, Connie Britton through season five, and Marshall Herskovitz and Ed Zwick from season five on. National Women's Soccer League
The National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) is a professional women's soccer league at the top of the United States league system. It is owned by the teams and, until 2020, was under a management contract with the United States Soccer Federation. The NWSL was established in 2012 as the successor to Women's Professional Soccer (WPS; 2007–2012), which was itself the successor to Women's United Soccer Association (2001–2003). Chicago Red Stars
The Chicago Red Stars are a professional women's soccer club based in Bridgeview, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. A founding member of the Women's Professional Soccer (WPS) league, they have played in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) since 2013. WPS was the NWSL's predecessor as the professional women's soccer league in the United States, and the Red Stars played in the WPS in 2009 and 2010. After leaving the WPS in December 2010 due to the league's financial issues, the club joined the Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL) for the 2011 season. Ann Marie Sarnoff (née Misiaszek; born c. 1961) is an American television executive. She became the chairwoman and CEO of Warner Bros. in the summer of 2019. Sarnoff was the first woman to hold the position at the company. Early life and education Sarnoff was born in Massachusetts. Peter Roth (born 1950) is an American television producer, who served as the chairman & chief executive officer of Warner Bros. Television Studios starting in 1999. In 2020, it was announced that Roth would leave the studio in 2021.
