Channel Frederator Network
The Channel Frederator Network is an American animation, video game and pop culture Multi-Channel Network (MCN) founded by cartoon producer and serial media entrepreneur Fred Seibert and managed by Frederator Networks. After launching Frederator Studios, Seibert spent a year as president of MTV Networks Online, realizing the potential of streaming video programming and distribution. In 2005, Seibert founded Channel Frederator, originally launched as the "first cartoon video podcast" on November 2, 2005, distributing episodes through Apple's iTunes onto devices like the Apple iPod and the Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP). According to the launch press release, Channel Frederator's weekly episodes "will contain several short form original and vintage cartoons submitted by producers from around the world, packaged into 10 to 15 minute episodes." Frederator Studios
Frederator Studios is an American animation television production studio which is a division of Frederator Networks, Inc. It was founded by Fred Seibert in 1997 with its first series launching in 1998. (Seibert resigned from Frederator in August 2020 after 22 years and on February 23, 2021 announced a new cartoon production company, FredFilms.) The studio focuses primarily on artists who write their own shorts, series, and movies. Their slogan is "Original Cartoons since 1998." The YouTube Original Channel Initiative was a $100 million program funded by Google to bring original content onto Google. The original channel initiative was also meant to kick start Google TV. The channels are collectively known as "original", "premium" or "YouTube funded" channels. Participants include Madonna, Pharrell Williams, Young Hollywood founder R.J. Williams, former NBA star Shaquille O'Neal, comedian Amy Poehler, actor Ashton Kutcher, ''The Office'' star Rainn Wilson, comedian Kenny Hotz, Motor Trend, SourceFed, spiritual doctor Deepak Chopra and ''Modern Family'' actress Sofia Vergara. Wow Unlimited Media (stylized as WOW! Unlimited Media) is a Canadian animation and media holding company. It was formed as a result of a merger between Rainmaker Entertainment, Frederator Networks and Ezrin Hirsh Entertainment (EHE). Cartoon Hangover is a Frederator internet television channel and adult animation division, part of the YouTube Original Channel Initiative, launched in February 2012. Frederator produced two animated series exclusively for the Internet: '' Bravest Warriors,'' created by Pendleton Ward and '' Bee and PuppyCat'', created by Natasha Allegri. Dominic Panganiban (born 27 September 1990), better known online as Domics, is a Filipino-born Canadian YouTuber, animator, and cartoonist. Panganiban generally posts story-time animations in which he tells stories about his life, an aspect of it, or his thoughts. , Panganiban's YouTube channel has over 7.39 million subscribers and 1.19 billion views.
