The station's studios are located on Chebucto Road in Halifax, and its transmitter is located on Washmill Lake Drive (near Bently Drive) on the city's west side. CBHT-DT serves as CBC's Atlantic Time Zone flagship station. It has common ownership with CBC Television station CBWT-DT (channel 6). Both stations share studios on Portage Avenue and Young Street in Downtown Winnipeg, while CBWFT-DT's transmitter is located atop the Richardson Building.
