Chang Liang-jen
Chang Liang-jen (; born 21 August 1946) is a Taiwanese politician and diplomat. He was the ROC Representative to Indonesia since 22 January 2014 until December 2016. ROC Representative to Indonesia Garbage trucks donation In April 2014, Taiwanese business people in Indonesia donated four garbage trucks through Chang to Jakarta Lieutenant Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama to help the city government to handle waste-related issues. Chang said that the help was given because all this while, many Taiwanese business people have cooperated a lot in various sectors with the Jakarta City Government. Basuki responded by saying that Taiwan has helped Jakarta a lot in handling its continuous flood problems, such as by the Tzu Chi Foundation. Zhang () is the third most common surname in China and Taiwan (commonly spelled as "Chang" in Taiwan), and it is one of the most common surnames in the world. Taiwanese People
Taiwanese people may be generally considered the people of Taiwan who share a common culture, ancestry and speak Taiwanese Mandarin, Hokkien, Hakka or indigenous Taiwanese languages as a mother tongue. Taiwanese people may also refer to the indigenous peoples of the areas under the control of the Government of the Republic of China since 1945, including Penghu as well as Kinmen and Matsu Islands that collectively form its streamlined Fujian Province (see Taiwan Area). Due to the One-China policy held by the People's Republic of China, countries are only allowed to maintain relations with either Taiwan or the People's Republic of China. Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (, Pha̍k-fa-sṳ: ''Chûng Van-ho̍k''; born 29 June 1966) is an Indonesian businessman, politician, and former governor of Jakarta. He is also known by his Hakka Chinese nickname Ahok (). He was the second minority governor of Jakarta with Chinese ancestry and also of the Evangelical faith, following Henk Ngantung, who was governor of Catholic faith from 1964–65.
