The studio was set up in 2003 to take over the development of the ''Championship Manager'' after its former developer Sports Interactive ceased its involvement. Beautiful Game Studios was majorly restructured in November 2009, losing 80% of its staff. GameRankings was a video gaming review aggregator that was founded in 1999 and owned by CBS Interactive. It indexed over 315,000 articles relating to more than 14,500 video games. GameRankings was discontinued in December 2019, with its staff being merged with the similar aggregator Metacritic. Rankings GameRankings collected and linked to (but did not host) reviews from other websites and magazines and averages specific ones. While hundreds of reviews may get listed, only the ones that GameRankings deemed notable were used for the average. Scores were culled from numerous American and European sources. The site used a percentage grade for all reviews in order to be able to calculate an average. Football Manager 2010 (abbreviated to ''FM10'') is a football manager simulation video game and the sixth instalment in the ''Football Manager'' series developed by Sports Interactive and published by Sega. It was released on Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X and PlayStation Portable on 30 October 2009. It is also available for digital download on Steam and iOS. A demo for FM10 was released on 14 October 2009. This is the first release in the series to be sold under the ''Football Manager'' name throughout the world. Previous North American versions were sold as ''Worldwide Soccer Manager''. Gameplay ''FM10'' features similar gameplay to that of the Football Manager series.
