Chahed Cabinet
The Chahed Cabinet is the 29th government of the Tunisian Republic, which was declared on 20 August 2016. The Government was approved on 27 August 2016 by a majority of 167 of total 217 legislators of Tunisia's Assembly of the Representatives of the People.The unity government consists of 26 ministers and 14 secretaries of state and includes independents, members of Nidaa Tounes, Ennahdha, Afek Tounes Afek Tounes ( ar, آفاق تونس, "Tunisian Aspiration(s)" or "Horizons of Tunisia") is a centre-right political party in Tunisia. Youssef Chahed
Youssef Chahed ( ar, يوسف الشاهد; born 18 September 1975) is a Tunisian politician who served as the 14th Prime Minister of Tunisia from 27 August 2016 to 27 February 2020. Previously he was Secretary of State for Fishing from 2015 to 2016 and Minister of Local Affairs in 2016. He was a member of the Nidaa Tounes party until he formed Tahya Tounes. By profession, he is an agricultural engineer, researcher and university professor. He was elected president of the newly founded Tahya Tounes party on 2 June 2019. Khemaies Jhinaoui
Khemaies Jhinaoui (born April 5, 1954) is a Tunisian diplomat who served as Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tunisia from 2016 to 2019. Jhinaoui previously served as Ambassador to Russia and Ukraine from December 2001 to June 2011. Biography Khemaies Jhinaoui obtained a degree in public law, a postgraduate degree in public law and a certificate of advanced studies in political science and international relations.
