Chad Haga
Chad Haga (; born August 26, 1988) is an American professional road racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI ProTeam . Career He was born in McKinney, Texas and attended Texas A&M University where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2010. While there he raced collegiately with the Texas A&M Cycling Team and as an amateur with Team Brain and Spine Cycling and Super Squadra. After Graduation he joined the Rio Grande Cycling squad. He began racing professionally in 2011 after joining , before joining in 2014. On January 23, 2016, he was one of the six members of the who were hit by a car which drove into on-coming traffic while they were training in Calpe, Spain. All riders were in stable condition. Haga started the 2018 season by racing the Tour Down Under. In July 2018, he was named in the start list for the Tour de France. The 2017 Vuelta a España was a three-week Grand Tour cycling stage race that took place in Spain between 19 August and 10 September 2017. The race was the 72nd edition of the Vuelta a España and the final Grand Tour of the 2017 cycling season. The race started in Nîmes, France, and finished in Madrid. The Bob Cook Memorial Mount Evans Hill Climb or Mount Evans Hill Climb is a bicycle race situated on Mount Evans near Idaho Springs, Colorado. Begun in 1962, the race has been held every year since except for three cancellations. In 1981, it was renamed in honor of five-time race winner Bob Cook, who died of cancer at the age of 23. The race is 27.4 miles (44.1 kilometers) in length and ascends . The 2013 Amgen Tour of California was the eighth running of the Tour of California cycling stage race. It was held from May 12–19, and was rated as a 2.HC event on the UCI America Tour. It began in Escondido and finished in Santa Rosa. United States National Time Trial Championships
The United States National Time Trial Championships are held annually to decide the American champions in this cycling discipline, across various age and gender categories. Originally, in 1975, the time trial event distance was 25 miles. It later changed to 40 km, and still later changed to the current distance of 32.3 km (20.1 miles). The winners of each event are awarded with a symbolic cycling jersey which is red, white and blue, just like the national flag, these colors can be worn by the rider at other time trialling events in the country to show their status as national champion. The champion's stripes can be combined into a sponsored rider's team kit design for this purpose.
