Chabelo
Xavier López Rodríguez (born February 17, 1935), better known as "Chabelo", is a Mexican American actor, comedian, television presenter and children's music singer who has been working on television for over sixty years. "Chabelo" has participated in more than thirty motion pictures and recorded more than thirty musical albums. He also has produced many shows like ''La Cuchufleta'' and ''La Güereja Quiere Más''. However, his most famous TV show was ''En Familia con Chabelo'', which was broadcast every Sunday morning on Televisa's Canal de las Estrellas. This show consisted of contests with people from the audience, gifts and games and was mainly for children. The program ended on Sunday, December 20, 2015 after 47 years. Mario Fortino Alfonso Moreno Reyes (12 August 1911 – 20 April 1993), known by the stage name Cantinflas (), was a Mexican comedian, actor, and filmmaker. He is considered to have been the most widely-accomplished Mexican comedian and is celebrated throughout Latin America and in Spain as a popular icon. His humor, loaded with Mexican linguistic features of intonation, vocabulary, and syntax, is beloved in all the Spanish-speaking countries of Latin America and in Spain and has given rise to a range of expressions including ''cantinflear'', ''cantinflada'', ''cantinflesco'', and ''cantinflero''. Early life Yolanda Yvonne Montes Farrington, was born in Spokane, Washington, United States, on January 3, 1932. Her father, Elmer Sven Móntes, descended from a Spanish father and a Swedish mother. Her mother, Edna Pearl Farrington, of English father and French mother. Her maternal grandmother, Molly (Maeva), was from Tahiti. As a child, she danced for the International Ballet of San Francisco, California as part of a Tahitian Revue. In 1947, she moved to Mexico and was hired as a dancer by Américo Mancini, a theater impresario. She also appeared in the famous Cabaret Tívoli in Mexico City.
