Cesare Salvadori (22 September 1941 – 8 August 2021) was an Italian sabre fencer. He won a gold and two silver medals with the Italian team at the 1964, 1968, and 1972 Olympics. His best individual achievement at the Summer Games was ninth place in 1964. The Universiade is an international multi-sport event, organized for university athletes by the International University Sports Federation (FISU). The name is a portmanteau of the words "University" and "Olympiad". The Universiade is referred to in English as the World University Games or World Student Games; however, this latter term can also refer to competitions for sub-University grades students.
