Central Park (Almaty)
Central Park, also known as Gorky Park, is an urban park located in the Medeu District of Almaty. The park includes different types of trees such as elm, oak, aspen, maple, pine, spruce, poplar, and birch; artificial water reservoirs, attractions such as a water park, movie theater, sports complex, cultural venues, and public catering establishments. There are also children's attractions, which include a children's railway, an aqua park and other entertainment venues. In 2013, the territory of the Central Park is only 42 hectares, while in 1983, it was over 100 hectares. Nikitsky Botanical Garden
Nikita Botanical Garden (russian: Никитский ботанический сад, ua, Нікітський ботанічний сад) is one of the oldest botanical gardens in Europe. It is located in Crimea, close to Yalta, by the shores of the Black Sea. It was founded in 1812 and named after the settlement Nikita in Crimea, Russian Empire. Its founder and first director was Russian botanist Christian Steven of Swedish descent. The garden and its collections were greatly expanded by the Livonian Nicolai Anders von Hartwiss, director 1827–1860. The total area is 11 square kilometres. Street workouts are a physical activity performed in outdoor parks or public facilities. Aytysh ( ky, айтыш, ) or Aytys ( kk, айтыс, translit=aıtys, ) is a song competition held between two akyn, aqyns. Each usually strums a national instrument (qomuz in the case of the Kyrgyz people, Kyrgyz, dombra in the case of the Kazakhs), and they respond to each other in wikt:spontaneous, spontaneous rhyme, rhyming verse on a range of topics. They may make backhanded political statements, criticise each other's style, flirt (if of the opposite sex), and flat-out insult one another, but it is all done in good humour: Kyrgyz aqyns even often state that one must have good intentions to be a good aqyn. The Russian Revolution of 1905,. also known as the First Russian Revolution,. occurred on 22 January 1905, and was a wave of mass political and social unrest that spread through vast areas of the Russian Empire.
