Celal Al is a Turkish actor, known for portraying Abdurrahman Alp in '' Diriliş: Ertuğrul'' (2014-2019) and '' Kuruluş: Osman'' (2019-2021). Celal Esat Arseven
Celal Esat Arseven (1875 – 13 November 1971) was a Turkish painter, writer and politician. He made contributions to various fields, including photography, literary art history, theater, cinema, architecture and urbanism. He was one of the first to introduce the scholastic disciplines of history of art and architecture and urbanism to Turkey. He pioneered a unique "Turkish art" and pioneered the acceptance of the Turkish art concept. His 5-volume ''Art Encyclopedia'' is his most recognizable work. Celal Atik
Celal Atik (1918 – 27 April 1979) was a Turkish wrestler and coach. He competed both in Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling, but had his best achievements in the freestyle, winning gold medals at the 1948 Olympics, 1951 World and 1946 and 1949 European championships. He was born in the village of Gürdan in the Boğazlıyan district of Yozgat Province, Turkey. He changed his family name from "Doğan" to "Atik" (literally, "Slippy") after a proposal by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Turkish Republic, who noticed his speed at the 1938 national championships. Celâl Bayar
Mahmud Celâleddin "Celâl" Bayar (16 May 1883 – 22 August 1986) was a Turkish economist and politician who was the third President of Turkey from 1950 to 1960; previously he was Prime Minister of Turkey from 1937 to 1939. Bayar began his career in the Committee of Union and Progress, establishing its Izmir and Bursa branches. Following the declaration of the Republic, he founded much of Turkey's early financial institutions, including the country's first bank, İş Bankası. Celal İbrahim
Celal İbrahim (1884 – 21 March 1917) was an Ottoman footballer of Kurdish origin and one of the founders of Galatasaray. He was also known as ''Kürt Celal'' which translates in English as ''Kurdish Celal''. Career İbrahim spent the entirety of his career with Galatasaray, his hometown club. Celal Kandemiroglu
Celal Kandemiroglu was a graphic artist in the German computer games industry. He was born in 1953 in Turkey and made his first comic when he was five years old. After graduating at the fine arts academy in Istanbul he started to offer his comics to the Bastei-Verlag in Germany around 1978. Since 1985 he has created many video and movie covers until he became a cover artist for the German computer game industry in 1988. He died in 2022. Celal Şahin
Celal Şahin (22 May 1925 – 23 February 2018) was a Turkish musician playing the accordion, humorist, television talk show host and actor. Celal Şahin was born in Istanbul, Turkey on 22 May 1925. He graduated from Kabataş High School, and then studied Archaeology at the Faculty of Letters of Istanbul University. He played briefly in the Beşiktaş Basketball team. A relative of Süleyman Seba (1926–2014), the renowned chairman of the sports club Beşiktaş J.K., he was a registered member of that club since 1944. Şahin chose a humorist career. Ali Mehmet Celâl Şengör (born 24 March 1955) is a Turkish geologist. He is currently on the faculty at Istanbul Technical University, Department of Geological Engineering. Şengör is a (foreign) member of the American Philosophical Society, the United States National Academy of Sciences and the Russian Academy of Sciences. Celal Yardımcı (1911–1986) was a Turkish politician who served as the minister of education and minister of justice in the 1950s. Hasan Celal Güzel (1945 – 19 March 2018) was a Turkish journalist and politician. He was Minister of Education, Youth and Sport (1987–1989).
