Manoel De Oliveira
Manoel Cândido Pinto de Oliveira (; 11 December 1908 – 2 April 2015) was a Portuguese film director and screenwriter born in Cedofeita, Porto. He first began making films in 1927, when he and some friends attempted to make a film about World War I. In 1931 he completed his first film '' Douro, Faina Fluvial'', a documentary about his home city Porto made in the city symphony genre. He made his feature film debut in 1942 with ''Aniki-Bóbó'' and continued to make shorts and documentaries for the next 30 years, gaining a minimal amount of recognition without being considered a major world film director. In 1971, Oliveira directed his second feature narrative film, '' Past and Present'', a social satire that both set the standard for his film career afterwards and gained him recognition in the global film community. Cecília Felgueiras de Meireles Graça (born 29 May 1977) is a Portuguese politician and lawyer, and a former member of the Assembly of the Republic of Portugal, representing the Christian democratic CDS – People's Party (CDS-PP) for the Porto constituency. Early life Cecília Felgueiras de Meireles Graça was born in Cedofeita in the Porto municipality on 29 May 1977. She was the first of three daughters of José Maria Ferreira de Meireles Graça and Maria Henriqueta Guimarães Jordão Felgueiras. Martin of Tours ( la, Sanctus Martinus Turonensis; 316/336 – 8 November 397), also known as Martin the Merciful, was the third bishop of Tours. He has become one of the most familiar and recognizable Christian saints in France, heralded as the patron saint of the Third Republic, and is patron saint of many communities and organizations across Europe. A native of Pannonia (in central Europe), he converted to Christianity at a young age. Joaquim Augusto Mouzinho de Albuquerque (12 November 1855 – 8 January 1902) was a Portuguese cavalry officer. He captured Gungunhana in Chaimite (1895) and was governor-general of Mozambique.
