Cecilie Broch Knudsen (born 3 January 1950) is a Norwegian artist who was Rector (academia), rector of the Oslo National Academy of the Arts from August 2007 to August 2015. She was born in New York City as a daughter of diplomat Ditlef Knudsen (1911–1981) and Anna Sophie Broch (1918–2000). She grew up in several countries where her father was stationed; Canada, Turkey, Thailand and Chile. Cecilie Løveid (born 21 August 1951) is a Norwegian novelist, poet, playwright, and writer of children's books. Personal life Løveid was born in Mysen to ship's captain Erik Løveid and actress Ingrid Cecilie Meyer. She had a cohabiting relationship with musician Bjørn Ianke. Career Løveid made her literary debut in 1972, with the novel ''Most''. She received the ''Gyldendal Prize'' in 2001. Løveid's first play was the one-act ''Tingene, tingene'', published in the literary magazine ''Vinduet'' in 1976. In total she has written about thirty plays, librettos or other texts for radio or stage performance. Cecilie Leganger (born 12 March 1975) is a Norwegian retired handballer who played for the Norwegian national team. International championships Leganger made her debut on the Norwegian national team in 1993, 17 years old, and retired three years later, only 20. In 1993 she obtained bronze medal at the World Women's Handball Championship, being voted as Best Goalkeeper and Most Valuable Player at the championship. At the European Championship in 1994, she was voted best goalkeeper. At the 1995 World Championship she was again voted Best Goalkeeper. Cecilie Skog (born August 9, 1974) is a Norwegian adventurer. She studied and worked as a nurse, but since summiting Mount Everest in 2004, she has worked as a professional adventurer, guide and lecturer. In August 2008, she climbed K2. Her husband, Rolf Bae, who had been climbing with her on K2, perished during the descent, as did 2008 K2 disaster, ten other mountaineers. In January 2010, she finished the first unassisted and unsupported crossing of Antarctica. Together with Ryan Waters, she took 70 days, from November 13, 2009 to January 21, 2010, to complete the more than 1800 km long journey across the Antarctic continent.
