Roberto Fernando Schneiger (born 13 April 1963), known as Roberto Cavalo, is a Brazilian professional football coach and former player who played as a defensive midfielder. He is the current head coach of Brasiliense. Career as a player Born in Carazinho, Roberto Cavalo began his career with Atlético Paranaense, with whom he made his debut in the top Division against Criciúma and in 1991 he was part of the squad won the 1991 Copa do Brasil. He then Vitória in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, it was a positive season: seven goals in twenty-three matches earned him inclusion in the League best eleven (Bola de Prata). ''Cavalo'' (Portuguese "horse") is the first solo album of singer Rodrigo Amarante. It was released in Brazil in September 2013 by the record label Som Livre and in May 2014 globally by Easy Sound. Background and recording After the indefinite break of Los Hermanos in 2007, Amarante began to devote himself to the Orquestra Imperial and the group Little Joy, which he co-founded with Fabrizio Moretti and Binki Shapiro. After the trios release of their first album in 2008, the band went on tour in Brazil and by 2009 they toured globally. Living in Los Angeles, a place where he was unknown, Amarante then began to write about this "exile" and to become reacquainted with his own nature, forming what would become ''Cavalo''. The album was recorded in Los Angeles and Rio de Janeiro in 2012, and contains tracks sung in three different languages: Portuguese, English and French, plus some Japanese verses in the title track. Bife a cavalo, bife com ovo a cavalo, or bife a caballo is a traditional dish in Portugal, Brazil and Argentina. It consists of a grilled, or sometimes pan-fried steak, with fried eggs on top. It is usually served with rice and beans and a salad. Its name literally means "horseback-riding steak", as an allusion to the appearance that the fried eggs are "riding" the steak. In Argentina, bife a caballo is usually served with French fries. It may be prepared from several beef cuts, such as Alcatra, Coxão-Mole, Maminha or Fraldinha. Origin Steak on horseback is a recipe of European origin, believed to be from England. In France, it was known as bifteck à cheval or œuf à cheval (egg on horseback), consisting of grilled beef steak, with fried eggs on top. Its appearance resembled riding saddles. ''Horse Money'' ( Portuguese: ''Cavalo Dinheiro'') is a 2014 Portuguese film directed by Pedro Costa. It premiered in August 2014 at the Locarno International Film Festival, where it won the award for Best Direction. Horse Money is the fourth film in a sequence of films set in the Fontainhas slum region in Lisbon, and the second with character Venturas as the protagonist. Plot Ventura, an elderly Cape Verdean immigrant living in Lisbon travels through the night, through real and imagined nightmarish memories.
