Caught By A Wave
''Caught by a Wave'' ( it, Sulla Stessa Onda) is a 2021 coming-of-age romance film directed by Massimiliano Camaiti, based on a screenplay written by Camaiti and Claudia Bottino. Produced by the Italian company Cinemaundici, the film stars Elvira Camarrone and Roberto Christian as two high school students who fall in love after meeting at a regatta-oriented summer camp on Sicily, though their romance is soon complicated when Camarrone's character, Sara, is diagnosed with muscular dystrophy. The film was released on Netflix on March 25, 2021. Muscular dystrophies (MD) are a genetically and clinically heterogeneous group of rare neuromuscular diseases that cause progressive weakness and breakdown of skeletal muscles over time. Vincenzo Amato (born 30 March 1966) is an Italian actor and sculptor. Life and career Born in Palermo, the son of the stage director and folk musician Emma Muzzi Loffredo, after high school Amato moved to Rome, where his mother lived. Always dedicated to painting, finished the university Amato focused on iron sculpting.
