Casualty (series 32)
The thirty-second series of the British medical drama television series ''Casualty'' began airing on BBC One in the United Kingdom on 19 August 2017, and concluded on 4 August 2018. The series consisted of 44 episodes. Erika Hossington continued her role as series producer, however, following her resignation in August 2017, was replaced by Lucy Raffety. Simon Harper began his role as the show's executive producer. Twenty cast members reprised their roles from the previous series. Lloyd Everitt, Crystal Yu, Jamie Davis left their respective roles during the series, while Charlotte Salt reprised her role as Sam Nicholls from episode five onwards. Four new cast members also joined the drama in series 32. The series opened with a two-parter special set in northern France, which was followed by an extended 70-minute special episode. Yate
Yate is a town and civil parish in South Gloucestershire, England. It lies just to the southwest of the Cotswolds, Cotswold Hills and is northeast of Bristol city centre and from the centre of Bath, Somerset, Bath, with regular rail services to Bristol and Gloucester. Developing from a small village into a town from the 1950s onwards, the 2011 UK census, census listed Yate's parish population as 21,789. George Rainsford (actor)
George Rainsford (born 31 July 1982) is a British actor, best known for his portrayal of Jimmy Wilson in the medical drama ''Call the Midwife'' and Ethan Hardy in ''Casualty'', for which he has been nominated for a Best Actor award in the 2017 TV Choice Awards. Early life Rainsford was born in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. He attended Repton School in Repton, Derbyshire, where he became interested in drama. Whilst reading for a Bachelor of Arts in drama at the University of Manchester, he was involved with the student theatre. He joined the National Youth Theatre in June 2003 and won a Goldman Sachs scholarship to the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. ''Casualty'' is a British medical drama television series that premiered on 6 September 1986 on BBC1. The series was created by Jeremy Brock and Paul Unwin. It is set in the fictional Holby City Hospital, in the equally fictitious city of Holby, and features occasional crossovers of characters and plots with spin-off show ''Holby City''. Dylan Keogh is a fictional character from the BBC medical drama ''Casualty'', played by William Beck. He first appeared in the twenty-fifth series episode "Only Human", broadcast on 12 March 2011. William Beck (actor)
William Beck is a British actor, known for his appearances in the BBC drama series ''Robin Hood'' and ''Casualty''. Early life Beck has a family history of employment in medicine and states that his earliest memories are of hospitals. This encouraged him to join medical school, which he later quit, despite maintaining an interest. On quitting medical school, Beck explained, "I didn't give up medical school because I couldn't do it, I just think at that age I got bored with things very quickly." Amanda Jane Mealing (born 22 April 1967) is an English actress, director and producer, known for portraying the role of Connie Beauchamp in the BBC medical dramas ''Holby City'' and ''Casualty''. Early life The only adopted member of her family, Mealing was the youngest of four children, with two sisters and an elder brother. She grew up in Dulwich, South London, with her adoption being a secret.
