Castlecomer (band)
Castlecomer is a five-piece Australian rock band formed in the suburbs of Sydney. Named after a small town in Ireland, Castlecomer consists of four cousins who have been making music together since childhood. They released their self-titled debut album on 5 October 2018 on Concord Records. History Named after a coal-mining village in Ireland where most of the band's family members emigrated from, Castlecomer has been making music together and touring the festival circuit since 2013. The band is fronted by vocalist Bede Kennedy. South by Southwest, abbreviated as SXSW and colloquially referred to as South By, is an annual conglomeration of parallel film, interactive media, and music festivals and Convention (meeting), conferences organized jointly that take place in mid-March in Austin, Texas, United States.
