''Cassinia monticola'' commonly known as mountain cassinia, is a species of flowering plant in the family Asteraceae and is endemic to mountain areas of south-eastern Australia. It is a spreading shrub with sticky, narrow linear to narrow lance-shaped leaves, and bronze-coloured to greenish-cream heads of flowers arranged in a dense, round-topped corymb. Description ''Cassinia maritima'' is a spreading shrub that typically grows to a height of , its branches covered with cottony and glandular hairs. The leaves are narrow linear to narrow lance-shaped, long and wide, the upper surface of the leaves glossy green and sticky, the edges rolled under and the lower surface densely covered with white, woolly hairs. Anthony Orchard (born 22 May 1946) is a retired botanist who worked at the State Herbarium of South Australia. His main interests were the study of the genera Rosaceae, Haloragaceae, Asteraceae and Rubiaceae. Thredbo
Thredbo is a village and ski resort in the Snowy Mountains of New South Wales, Australia, situated in a part of the Snowy Monaro Regional Council, and has been operated by Event Hospitality and Entertainment since 1987.
