"Case of the P.T.A." is the first single by Leaders of the New School from their debut album '' A Future Without a Past...''. It peaked at number four on the Billboard Hot Rap Singles charts. The song contains a sample from Ramsey Lewis, The Mighty Quinn. Music video In the video, it starts an introduction about somewhere in "Strong Island", where Busta Rhymes, Charlie Brown, and Dinco D are in high school. Dinco drops his first verse about discussing his best & worst times on how he got in trouble with himself. Then, in the second verse, Busta drops his line about his behavior that he had so much troubles while in class. And in the final verse where Charlie Brown talks about himself being suspended from school and went to court to see the judge. As for people in the hallways running around and people dancing in the lunchroom, the video ends with the group leaving the cafeteria. Leaders of the New School was an American hip hop group based in Long Island, New York. History The crew was composed of Uniondale, New York, natives Charlie Brown (born Bryan Higgins on September 19, 1970) and Dinco D (born James Jackson on November 4, 1971); North Amityville, New York native Cut Monitor Milo (born Sheldon Scott on July 4, 1970); and Busta Rhymes (born Trevor Smith, Jr. on May 20, 1972), who was originally from Brooklyn, New York but later moved to Uniondale at the age of twelve. The group's big break came when they became an opening act for hip hop group Public Enemy. "Quinn the Eskimo (The Mighty Quinn)" is a folk-rock song written by Bob Dylan and first recorded during ''The Basement Tapes'' sessions in 1967. The song was recorded in December 1967 and first released in January 1968 as "Mighty Quinn" by the British band Manfred Mann and became a great success. It has been recorded by a number of performers, often under the "Mighty Quinn" title. The subject of the song is the arrival of Quinn (an Eskimo), who changes despair into joy and chaos into rest, and attracts attention from the animals. Dylan is widely believed to have derived the title character from actor Anthony Quinn's role as an Eskimo in the 1960 movie ''The Savage Innocents''. Ramsey Emmanuel Lewis Jr. (May 27, 1935 – September 12, 2022) was an American jazz piano, jazz pianist, composer, and radio personality.
