Anne Mary Brooksbank (born 1943) is an Australian writer. She has written a number of novels as well as scripts for film and TV. She teaches screenwriting at The Australian Film Television and Radio School. Robert James Ellis (10 May 1942 – 3 April 2016) was an Australian writer, journalist, filmmaker, and political commentator. Ron McLean (writer)
Ron McLean (1943–1983) was an Australian screenwriter, producer and executive producer, best known for his work on TV. He wrote most of the episodes for ''Spyforce'', which he helped create. He had a long collaboration with producer Roger Mirams. Biography McLean was running a woman's shoe shop in Double Bay, Sydney when he read an article about a TV series being made in Australia, ''Riptide'' (1969). He sent them a couple of stories which the show liked and he taught himself how to adapt them into scripts. He wrote some episodes of '' Skippy the Bush Kangaroo'' and did sketches for ''The Mavis Bramston Show''. He came much in demand in the early 70s, writing a number of shows for Crawford Productions. McLean met Roger Mirans when working on ''Woobinda, Animal Doctor''. The two formed a company, South Pacific Films, which made ''Spyforce''. John Hamblin
John Reginald Hamblin (18 March 1935 – 21 September 2022), known affectionately as "Funny John" or "Naughty John", was a British-born Australian children's television presenter and actor of stage and screen who appeared in theatre productions, soap operas and made-for-TV films. Hamblin was a presenter on the Australian children's television program '' Play School'' for 29 years from 1970 to 1999. He featured in more than 350 episodes and became the second longest-serving presenter in the program's history after Benita Collings with whom he often presented. Judith Anne Arthy (born 12 November 1940 Brisbane, Queensland, Australia) is an Australian actress, now retired, and writer. Judith Arthy began her theatrical career in a production of Arthur Miller's The Crucible with the Brisbane Repertory Theatre in July, 1957. From 1961 appearances in Sydney - initially in Alan Seymour's '' The One Day of the Year'' - and later in Melbourne, a successful run of '' The Fantasticks''. Maxwell Hamilton Osbiston (7 August 1914 – 12 March 1981) was an Australian actor, active in radio, stage, film and television. Biography Osbiston was born in Sydney, the son of Frank and Iolanthe Osbiston (née Margoliouth) of Cremorne, New South Wales. He spent three years at the Agricultural School at Yanco, followed by North Sydney High School.
