Caroline Henderson (singer)
Caroline Henderson (born 28 February 1962) is a Danish–Swedish pop and jazz singer. She moved to Copenhagen from Sweden in 1983 and spent her youth singing in various jazz bands. Her breakthrough was in 1989 as part of pop group Ray Dee Ohh. After the group disbanded, Henderson launched a solo career with multi award-winning album ''Cinemataztic'' (1995) featuring smash hits "Kiss Me Kiss Me" and "Made in Europe". Follow-up ''Metamorphing'' (1998), disco cover album ''Dolores J - The Butterfly'' (2000) and the more experimental ''Naos'' (2002) didn't have the same commercial impact. A new turn saw Henderson develop into a full-fledged jazz singer on albums ''Don't Explain'' (2003), '' Made in Europe'' (2004), ''Love Or Nothin’'' (2006) and ''No. 8'' (2008). Caroline Henderson (journalist)
Caroline Henderson (born 14 May 1985) is a Scottish broadcast journalist, currently working as a sports presenter for ''STV News'' in East Central Scotland. Born in Kirkcaldy, Fife, Henderson was educated at St Leonards School in St Andrews and won a Best Speaker award in a National Youth Parliament competition at the age of 14. She studied an HNC in Radio Broadcasting and travelled to Canada as part of a media core on a live fire training exercise with the former Black Watch regiment, before working as a freelance journalist for local radio stations Forth One and Radio Borders. While studying a journalism degree at the University of Sunderland, Henderson joined the BBC in Newcastle in April 2008, working as a newsreader, reporter and producer for radio, online and television services in the North East and Cumbria. Caroline Henderson (author)
Caroline Henderson (1877–1966) was an American schoolteacher, farmer and author during the Dust Bowl. Born Caroline Boa in Wisconsin and raised in Iowa, she attended Mount Holyoke College, graduating in 1901. After teaching in Iowa until 1907, she relocated to Texas County in the Oklahoma Panhandle. She married local farmer, Bill Henderson, in 1908, the same year when she bought a 160-acre farm near Eva, Oklahoma. Caroline and Bill had one daughter, Eleanor, born in 1909. When their daughter was old enough for college, Eleanor chose to attend University of Kansas. She earned both a Bachelor of Arts degree and an M.D. at Kansas. Meanwhile, Caroline helped pay her daughter's educational expenses by moving to Lawrence with her. The two shared an apartment, and Caroline found work teaching school.
