Carmen Smith (born 1984) is an Australian singer/songwriter who rose to prominence after appearing in the first season of ''The Voice Australia''. Early career Since 2002, Smith has been a back-up singer for a number of Australian performers, including Guy Sebastian. She has released two of her own solo albums as well as written songs for singers Stan Walker and Jessica Mauboy. In 2005, Carmen wrote " All I Ask" as the winner's single of New Zealand Idol, which was released by Rosita Vai. Rosita Vai
Rosita Vai (born 4 June 1981) is a New Zealand singer who rose to musical fame as the winner of the second season of ''New Zealand Idol'' in 2005. Now married, she is also known as Rosita Gibbons. Prior to her win, Rosita managed to stay out of the "bottom three" placings for the entire competition, the only contestant to have done so in the history of ''NZ Idol''. The eighth season of '' Australian Idol'' premiered on 30 January 2023. It is the show's first season since 2009. It aired on Seven Network, after the network bought the rights to the series from Network 10. Get Along Tour was the tenth concert tour by Australian recording artist Guy Sebastian. The tour supported his sixth studio album ''Armageddon'' (2013). The tour visited metro and regional areas in Australia. Sebastian won the 2013 ARIA Award for Best Live Act for the tour. ''Australia's Got Talent'' is an Australian reality television talent show. The show is based on the ''Got Talent'' series format that originated in the United Kingdom with Simon Cowell. The first six seasons aired on the Seven Network, from 2007 to 2012. In the first season the judges were Tom Burlinson, Red Symons and Dannii Minogue.
