Carmelo Morales Gómez (born 7 July 1978) is a Spanish motorcycle racer. During his racing career he won three times the Spanish Extreme/Stock Extreme championship (in 2008, 2009 and 2012), once the Spanish Moto2 championship (in 2010), three times the European Superstock title (in 2008, 2009 and 2012), once the European Supersport title (in 2010), twice the FIM CEV Superbike European Championship (in 2015 and 2016) and twice the Spanish Superstock 1000 championship (in 2017 and 2018). Castellar del Vallès is a Spanish municipality of Catalonia in the comarca of Vallès Occidental. It is located 7 km from Sabadell and 11 km from Terrassa, the comarca's two capitals. The 2011 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season was the 63rd F.I.M. Road Racing World Championship season. The 2011 season was also the final season for 800cc engines in MotoGP, and also for 125cc machinery, as both MotoGP switched back to 1000cc engines and a new four-stroke Moto3 class was also introduced in 2012. Casey Stoner was crowned as MotoGP World Champion for the second time, following his ninth victory of the season at the Australian Grand Prix. The 2010 San Marino and Rimini Riviera motorcycle Grand Prix was the twelfth round of the 2010 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season.
