Carlos Alberto Peña Rodríguez (born 29 March 1990), sometimes known as Gullit, is a Mexican professional footballer who plays as a midfielder. Club career Pachuca Born in Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas, Peña graduated from C.F. Pachuca's youth categories, and made his first-team debut on 14 April 2010, coming on as a late substitute in a 2–2 away draw against Cruz Azul. He appeared more regularly in the following campaign, playing 19 matches (13 as a starter). León In May 2011, Peña joined Ascenso MX side Club León. He appeared in 31 matches during his first campaign with ''Los Panzas Verdes'', as the club was promoted from the play-offs. Ciudad Victoria () is the seat of the Municipality of Victoria, and the capital of the Mexican state of Tamaulipas. It is located in the northeast of Mexico at the foot of the Sierra Madre Oriental. Ascenso MX
Ascenso MX was the second tier of professional football in Mexico of the Mexican football league system. The champion of the competition was promoted to Liga MX (top-flight tier). The bottom team was relegated to Liga Premier (the third tier). It was sponsored by BBVA through its Mexican subsidiary BBVA, and was officially known as Ascenso BBVA MX. 2014 FIFA World Cup Qualification (CONCACAF)
The CONCACAF qualification for the 2014 FIFA World Cup consisted of four rounds of competition, in which the 35 member nations competed for three automatic berths at the finals in Brazil. The United States, Costa Rica, and Honduras qualified. The fourth-place finisher, Mexico, played a two-game series against New Zealand, the first-placed team from Oceania and qualified to the Finals. Víctor Manuel Vucetich Rojas (born 25 June 1955) is a Mexican professional football manager and former player, who is the current manager of Liga MX club Monterrey. With a career spanning more than thirty years, Vucetich is one of the most decorated managers in the history of Mexican football. Panama National Football Team
The Panama national football team ( es, Selección de fútbol de Panamá) represents Panama in men's international football and is governed by the Panamanian Football Federation. The team represents all three FIFA, CONCACAF and the regional UNCAF. The 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup was the 12th CONCACAF Gold Cup competition and the 22nd CONCACAF regional championship overall in CONCACAF's fifty years of existence. The United States was the host nation. The competition began on 7 July 2013 at the Rose Bowl, and ended with the final on 28 July 2013 at Soldier Field, with the United States defeating Panama 1–0. In this edition of the Gold Cup, Mexico participated with an alternative squad due to the main players competing at the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup prior to the Gold Cup. Despite not playing with their full squad, they successfully reached the semi-finals where they lost to eventual runners-up Panama with a score of 1–2.
