Carlos Peña (Mexican Footballer)
Carlos Alberto Peña Rodríguez (born 29 March 1990), sometimes known as Gullit, is a Mexican professional footballer who plays as a midfielder. Club career Pachuca Born in Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas, Peña graduated from C.F. Pachuca's youth categories, and made his first-team debut on 14 April 2010, coming on as a late substitute in a 2–2 away draw against Cruz Azul. He appeared more regularly in the following campaign, playing 19 matches (13 as a starter). León In May 2011, Peña joined Ascenso MX side Club León. He appeared in 31 matches during his first campaign with ''Los Panzas Verdes'', as the club was promoted from the play-offs. In association football, a substitute is a player who is brought on to the pitch during a match in exchange for an existing player. Substitutions are generally made to replace a player who has become tired or injured, or who is performing poorly, or for tactical reasons (such as bringing a striker on in place of a defender). Víctor Manuel Vucetich Rojas (born 25 June 1955) is a Mexican professional football manager and former player. With a career spanning more than thirty years, Vucetich is one of the most decorated managers in the history of Mexican football. He has coached thirteen teams in the Liga MX, winning five league championships with four clubs. He has also won four Copa México championships, an InterLiga championship and two second division titles, as well as three CONCACAF Champions League cups. 2013 Gold Cup
The 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup was the 12th CONCACAF Gold Cup competition and the 22nd CONCACAF regional championship overall in CONCACAF's fifty years of existence. The United States was the host nation. The competition began on July 7, 2013, at the Rose Bowl, and ended with the final on July 28, 2013, at Soldier Field, with the United States defeating Panama 1–0. In this edition of the Gold Cup, Mexico participated with an alternative squad due to the main players competing at the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup prior to the Gold Cup. José Manuel de la Torre Menchaca (born 13 November 1965), popularly nicknamed ''Chepo'', is a Mexican former professional footballer and a manager. As a player, de la Torre played as an attacking midfielder. Playing career "Chepo" came up through the Chivas youth academies, and was an important player for all the teams he played for. The 2013–14 Liga MX season (known as the Liga BBVA Bancomer MX for sponsorship reasons) was the 67th professional top-flight football league season in Mexico.
