Carlos Griguol
Carlos Timoteo Griguol (4 September 1934 – 6 May 2021) was an Argentine football coach and player, who played as a midfielder. Life His playing career was spent with Atlanta and Rosario Central. As a coach, after winning the championship with Rosario Central in 1973. He had three spells and a successful career in the Rosario's club. In the 1980s he soared to the top ranks of Argentine football by guiding Ferro Carril Oeste to two championships, in 1982 and 1984, featuring players such as Adolfino Cañete, Héctor Cúper, Gerónimo Saccardi, Juan Domingo Rocchia, Julio Cesar Jiménez, Oscar Garré and Alberto Márcico. During his Ferrocarril Oeste days, Griguol would videotape the basketball team, and basketball coach Leon Najnudel would return the favor. His conservative style made Griguol a non-contender for the job of national coach. Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a neurodegeneration, neurodegenerative disease that usually starts slowly and progressively worsens. It is the cause of 60–70% of cases of dementia. The most common early symptom is difficulty in short-term memory, remembering recent events. As the disease advances, symptoms can include primary progressive aphasia, problems with language, Orientation (mental), disorientation (including easily getting lost), mood swings, loss of motivation, self-neglect, and challenging behaviour, behavioral issues. Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a contagious disease caused by a virus, the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). Copa Interamericana
The Copa Interamericana ( en, Interamerican Cup) was an annual club football competition contested between a representative from North America (CONCACAF) and South America (CONMEBOL). Established in 1969, it was discontinued in 1998 after CONCACAF clubs, particularly those from Mexico, began participating in CONMEBOL competitions. The competition was intended to be contested between the winners of the North American CONCACAF Champions Cup and the South American Copa Libertadores tournaments, although the participants varied at times. The competition was usually contested over a two legged tie, with a playoff or penalty kicks if necessary. However, it was common for several consecutive editions to go unheld. Alberto Márcico
Alberto José Márcico (born 13 May 1960) is an Argentine former professional football midfielder. He played club football with Ferro Carril Oeste, Toulouse, Boca Juniors, and Gimnasia y Esgrima (LP). e represented the Argentina national football team on 15 occasions between 1983 and 1992, including at the 1983 Copa América. In 2003, he coached Nueva Chicago for five games. Career Márcico made his professional debut in 1980 with Ferro Carril Oeste under manager Carlos Timoteo Griguol. In 1982, he was part of the team that won the Nacional championship without losing a single game. In 1984, he helped Ferro to win their second Nacional and was awarded the 1984 Player of the Year title. Oscar Garré
Oscar Alfredo Garré (born 9 December 1956) is an Argentine former professional footballer who played as a defender. Career Garré played most of his career (1974–88 and 1989–94) as a defender for Ferro Carril Oeste, and was part of the team that won the Nacional championships of 1982 and 1984. 1982's campaign saw Ferro finish the league without losing a single game. Garré played for the Argentina national team, he was part of the squad that won the 1986 World Cup. In 1994, he went to Israel, where he played for Hapoel Kfar Saba and Hapoel Be'er Sheva in the local football league. He retired in 1996, aged almost 40. After retirement, he has coached such teams as Lanús, Chile's Universidad Católica, and Huachipato. Juan Domingo Rocchia
Juan Domingo Rocchia is a retired professional footballer. He played for Racing Club and Ferro Carril Oeste in the Argentine Primera. He played in central defence and he formed a famous partnership with Héctor Cúper in his time at Ferro Carril Oeste. He played 377 games for Ferro, putting him 6th on their all time appearances list. His nickname was ''Burro'' (Donkey), he was a famously combative player and a great header of the ball. He was also very good at taking free kicks and he scored 78 goals in his career (very impressive for a defender). He is Ferro Carril Oeste's 4th highest goalscorer of all time.
