Carlos Alberto Puente Salas
Carlos Alberto Puente Salas (born 16 December 1971) is a Mexican politician affiliated with the PVEM. He currently serves as senator of the LXIII Legislature of the Mexican Congress representing Zacatecas. He also served as deputy in the LX Legislature. Ecologist Green Party Of Mexico
The Ecological Green Party of Mexico ( es, Partido Verde Ecologista de México, , PVEM or PVE) is a green-conservative political party in Mexico. In the 2012 legislative elections, the party took 34 seats in the Chamber of Deputies (out of 500) and nine seats in the Senate (out of 128). During the 2012 Presidential election, PVEM supported Enrique Peña Nieto (EPN), the candidate from the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), who was elected. In 2018, PVEM supported Todos por México coalition, along with PRI and PANAL. José Antonio Meade, the coalition's candidate, came in third in a four-way race, with 16.43% of the vote. PVEM later withdrew from Todos por Mexico and gradually came close to the government, formally entering the Juntos Haremos Historia coalition in 2019. Zacatecas City
Zacatecas () is the principal city within the municipality in Mexico of the same name, and the capital and the largest city of the state of Zacatecas. Located in north-central Mexico, the city had its start as a Spanish mining camp in the mid-16th century. Native Americans had already known about the area's rich deposits of silver and other minerals. Due to the wealth that the mines provided, Zacatecas quickly became one of the most important mining cities in New Spain. The area saw battles during the turbulent 19th century, but the next major event was the Battle of Zacatecas during the Mexican Revolution when Francisco Villa captured the town, an event still celebrated every anniversary. Today, the colonial part of the city is a World Heritage Site, due to the Baroque and other structures built during its mining days. Mining still remains an important industry. LXIII Legislature Of The Mexican Congress
The LXIII Legislature of the Mexican Congress is made up of senators and deputies that are members of their respective chambers. It convened on September 1, 2015 and concluded on August 31, 2018. Pablo Escudero Morales
Pablo Escudero Morales (born July 6, 1973) is a Mexican politician and lawyer, member of the Ecologist Green Party of Mexico (PVEM) and former federal deputy and senator. From 2016 to 2017, he served as President of the Senate of Mexico. Studies and professional career Pablo Escudero graduated with a law degree from the Universidad Anáhuac and a master's in public administration from the National Institute of Public Administration in Madrid, Spain. He began his career in public administration in 1997 as the coordinator of the program for responsibilities of public servants of the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS).
