Carlo Resoort
Carlo Resoort (born 1 March 1973) is a Dutch DJ, remixer and producer. He is best known as the main act of 4 Strings. Music career Resoort originally began working with Jan De Vos when they found a mutual interest in dance music. The two spent all of their free time in the recording studio, and later De Vos went on to become 'DJ 4 Strings' while Resoort headed '4 Strings'. All of his albums as 4 Strings have been released in the U.S. via Ultra Records. Resoort had his first hit with "Day Time", and later released "Take Me Away (Into the Night)", his second hit. They had some success, having been in record charts in several European countries and also Canada and Australia. Success in the United States has been limited and they have only charted on the U.S., Dance Radio Airplay, Hot Dance Singles Sales, and Rhythmic Top 40 chart. Numansdorp
Numansdorp is a town and former municipality in the province South Holland in the Netherlands and is located on the island Hoeksche Waard near the Hollands Diep. On 1 January 1984, the municipalities Numansdorp and Klaaswaal were merged into one municipality called Cromstrijen. Cromstrijen was merged into the new municipality Hoeksche Waard in January 2019. History Numansdorp was founded in 1642. The village was built in the Numanspolder. It took a while till the embankment of this polder was started. The reason for the delay was a disagreement between the Lords of Cromstrijen and the owners of Zuid-Beijerland. When the founding of the village had finally taken place, it still didn't have an official name, even though the locals called it Buitensluis. In a meeting it was decided to call the village "Village of Cromstrijen" (Dorp van Cromstrijen). Turn It Around (Alena Song)
"Turn It Around" is a song written by Dutch DJ and producer Carlo Resoort and featuring singer Alena Lova. Originally distributed on white label in 1998, the single was given a commercial release in 1999 with a new remix by the UK trance music act the Space Brothers (Ricky Simmonds and Stephen Jones). The Space Brothers remix features additional lyrics credited to Simmonds and Jones. "Turn It Around" was a success in UK and European clubs. Over the course of October 1999, it reached its peak in three ''Music Week'' dance charts: number one in the Cool Cuts Chart, number two in the Club Chart Top 40 and number six in the Pop Top 20. The song then peaked at number 14 in the UK Singles Chart in November 1999, selling nearly 25,000 copies in its first week. Slusnik Luna
Slusnik Luna are a Finnish electronic music duo formed in Helsinki in 1994, composed of Niko Nyman and Nicklas Renqvist. The pair play and produce trance and house tracks. They also produced soundtracks for the Amiga CD32 version of the video game, '' Super Stardust'', (1995) published by Team17 and developed by Bloodhouse. Their debut single, "Sun", was initially released in October 2000 on Unity Records, a record label newly founded by the people behind the Helsinki club night Club Unity (headlined by DJ Orkidea). "Sun" was originally made as a theme for a yearly Sunday club night of the same name, also run by the Club Unity crew. Jessy De Smet, whose stage name is Jessy (born 8 July 1976, Zottegem, Belgium), is a Belgian dance music singer of Flemish people, Flemish origin. who had several Music recording sales certification, gold records in the late 1990s and 2000s. Minimalistix
Minimalistix was a progressive trance music project from Belgium, consisting of members Dave Lambrechts, Janus De Decker, Johan Casters, Peter Bellaert and Steve Sidewinder (Andy Vandierendonck) Poison Ivy (Els Mortelmans) voice and performance on stage and existing from 2000 to 2010. The group was started by Bellaert (alias Brian Koner) who purchased his first synthesizer at the age of eighteen, and gained his first recording contract in 1991, when he signed to Snowball Records. The group first gained mainstream recognition with the white label single, "Struggle for Pleasure" (a remix of the 1983 Wim Mertens track) in Belgium dance clubs. Angelic was a British trance group featuring Darren Tate, Judge Jules and Jules's wife, Amanda O'Riordan. History In 1999, when Judge Jules and Darren Tate launched their collaboration named Angelic, Jules was already a successful club and radio DJ. For Darren Tate, the project was the beginning of his musical career. Jules' wife Amanda was featured as a singer in the project. The debut single "It's My Turn" was successful, reaching number 11 and remaining on the UK Singles Chart for 10 weeks.
