''Car Show Tour'' is a compilation album by American DJ Funkmaster Flex. It was released on December 6, 2005, via Koch Records, along with a DVD that features a documentary about a Miami car and hip hop show hosted by Funk Flex. Production was handled by several record producers, including DVLP, Alchemist, Cipha Sounds, Dame Grease, DJ Khalil, Emile, Red Spyda, Ron Browz and Salaam Remi. It features guest appearances from The Diplomats, The Lox, 50 Cent, Beanie Sigel, David Banner, Elephant Man, Fabolous, Jae Millz, J-Hood, Lil Wayne, Maino, Mobb Deep, Nas, O-Solo, Rockwilder, Papoose, Paul Wall, Strong Arm Steady, T.I. and Xzibit. Funkmaster Flex
Aston George Taylor Jr. (born August 5, 1968), professionally known as Funkmaster Flex, is an American DJ, rapper, record producer, and host on New York City's Hot 97 radio station. In 1992, he became host of the first hip hop radio show on Hot 97 in New York, which was a pop radio station at the time. Early life Aston Taylor Jr. was born in the Bronx borough of New York City to Jamaican immigrant parents. His father, DJ Aston George Taylor Sr., was a sound system professional. Shamele Mackie (born March 5, 1978), known professionally as Papoose (), is an American rapper. Well known for his freestyles and prolific mixtape output, Papoose has released four studio albums and 29 mixtapes since 1998. Born in New York, he began rapping in the 1990s, making his first appearance on Kool G Rap's 1998 album ''Roots of Evil''. Papoose produced and distributed his own mixtapes during the early 2000s, eventually signing a $1.5 million contract with Jive Records. After his debut studio album, ''The Nacirema Dream'', was repeatedly delayed and eventually shelved, he and frequent collaborator DJ Kay Slay cut ties with Jive, and released several free mixtapes between 2006 and 2013. Mobb Deep was an American hip hop duo from New York City. The duo consisted of rappers Prodigy and Havoc. They are considered to be among the principal progenitors of hardcore East Coast hip hopEdwards, Paul, 2009, ''How to Rap: The Art & Science of the Hip-Hop MC'', Chicago Review Press, p. 323. and hip hop in the mid-1990s. Mobb Deep became one of the most successful rap duos of all time, having sold over three million records.
