Caprisongs
''Caprisongs'' (stylised in all caps) is the first mixtape by English singer-songwriter FKA Twigs. It was released on 14 January 2022 through Young and Atlantic Records. The mixtape features guest appearances from Pa Salieu, the Weeknd, Shygirl, Dystopia, Rema, Daniel Caesar, Jorja Smith, and Unknown T. The production is handled by el Guincho, who co-executive produced the mixtape alongside Twigs, as well as Arca, Cirkut, and Mike Dean, among others. The mixtape was supported by one single, "Tears in the Club", which features the Weeknd, and one promotional single, "Jealousy", which features Rema. Background and promotion In October 2020, FKA Twigs took part in a virtual chat on the Grammy Museum's Programs at Home series. Tahliah Debrett Barnett (born 17 January 1988), known professionally as FKA Twigs (stylized as FKA twigs), is an English singer, songwriter, and dancer. Born and raised in Cheltenham, she became a backup dancer for numerous famous musicians after moving to London at the age of 17, and made her own musical debut with '' EP1'' (2012). Blane Muise (born May 4, 1993), better known by her stage name Shygirl, is an English rapper, DJ, singer, songwriter and co-head/founder of record label and collective Nuxxe. Shygirl's music incorporates elements of hip house, industrial hip-hop, grime and deconstructed club. She has also been associated with the hyperpop music scene. "Tears in the Club" (stylized in all lowercase on the album version only) is a song by English singer-songwriter FKA Twigs, featuring vocals from Canadian singer the Weeknd. It was released on 16 December 2021, as the lead single from Twigs' first mixtape, ''Caprisongs'' (2022). The two artists wrote the song with producers Cirkut, Arca (musician), Arca, and el Guincho, alongside Ali Tamposi. Background and composition "Tears in the Club" leans towards a more contemporary pop sound that strays away from the type of FKA Twigs' regular music, but "maintains the etherealness and Distortion (music), distortion for which she's become known". Arca (musician)
Alejandra Ghersi Rodríguez (born 14 October 1989), known professionally as Arca, is a Venezuelan musician and record producer based in Barcelona, Spain. She initially began releasing music under the name of Nuuro. Koreless
Lewis Roberts, better known by the stage name Koreless, is a British electronic musician and recording artist. He released his debut album, ''Agor'', in 2021. History Roberts was born in Wales and spends the majority of his time in Glasgow. In 2011, Koreless released his debut EP, ''4D'', on Pictures Music as a limited edition 12-inch single. Daniel Lena (born 17 August 1999), known professionally as Unknown T, is a British professional musician. His post release album “Rise Above Hate” (2020) was a major hit on the UK music scene, the album reaching the top of the charts in the first couple of weeks.
