The Capital1 Solar Spikers is a professional women's volleyball team in the Philippines debuting in the Premier Volleyball League. Capital1 Solar Spikers is affiliated with Capital1 Solar Energy. Capital1 Solar Energy builds, operates, and owns industrial-scale solar power plants across the Philippines. History Capital1 Solar Energy joined the Premier Volleyball League in 2024. It beat the bid of three other entities to be allowed to take over the franchise of disbanded club, F2 Logistics Cargo Movers. They became the newest team entering the PVL after Strong Group Athletics joined the league before the start of the 2024 PVL First All-Filipino Conference. The team initially known as the Power Spikers are linked to Capital1 Solar Energy and is co-owned by Mandy and Milka Romero. Mandy Romero is the President of Capital1 Solar Energy. Roger Gorayeb
Roger Gorayeb is a Filipino volleyball coach and former college player. He is noted for being a multi-titled and longtime coach of the San Sebastian College – Recoletos de Manila women's team of the NCAA. Career Gorayeb has served as head coach of the San Sebastian College women's volleyball team. Under Gorayeb's watch, San Sebastian grabbed 11 consecutive championships for the women's team from 1986 to 1997, 22 women's volleyball titles, 6 titles in women's beach volleyball and 11 in junior's volleyball. Gorayeb started his coaching career as a player-coach in 1984, when he was tasked to lead San Sebastian's men's team when their Australian coach left the team. He was also the head coach of the Ateneo Lady Eagles volleyball team for five years until his resignation in 2013 as head coach to focus on his coaching stint with San Sebastian. The 2024 Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference was the eighteenth conference of the Premier Volleyball League and its ninth conference as a professional league. This was the second conference for the 2024 season. It was originally slated to be a merged tournament of the Invitational and Reinforced Conferences, but PVL Commissioner Sherwin Malonzo announced in a simultaneous interview during the commencement of the 2024 PVL Draft Combine that this would be a stand-alone Reinforced tournament and that the Invitational Conference would start in September. Twelve teams competed in this conference, which have been grouped into two pools. Each team would be allowed to reinforced by one foreign player. The 2024 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) season will be the seventh season of the Premier Volleyball League. The season will start on February 20, 2024, with the beginning of the 2024 All-Filipino Conference and expected to end in the latter half of 2024, with the conclusion of the 2024 Reinforced Conference. Heather Anne Guino-o (born November 27, 1997) is a Filipino volleyball player for the Capital1 Power Spikers in the Premier Volleyball League. Career UAAP Guino-o was a member of FEU Lady Tamaraws women's volleyball collegiate team and she became an outside hitter. In 2019, she played her final year in the UAAP. PVL Pocari Sweat Lady Warriors In 2017, she played for the Pocari Sweat Lady Warriors as an Opposite spiker.
