Circolo Canottieri Napoli (in English language, English:''Naples Rowing Club'') is one of the most prestigious and renowned Italian nautical clubs. Founded in 1914, its headquarters are located in the green oasis gardens of "Molosiglio", in San Ferdinando (Naples), San Ferdinando overlooking the bay of Naples. With more than a thousand members in its ranks, hosts several Olympic disciplines like boating, powerboat, Swimming (sport), swimming, water polo, tennis, triathlon and more. The ("Italy Cup") is an annual knockout cup competition in Italian football organized by the FIGC until the 2009–10 season and the Lega Serie A ever since. History The beginning of the tournament was turbulent, due to the complexity of the participation of the teams in the tournament, since its inception in 1921, the Italian championship was divided into two groups. On the one hand the CCI Championship (Italian Football Confederation) and on the other the FIGC championship ( Italian Football Federation). LEN Champions League
The LEN Champions League is the top-tier European professional water polo club competition with teams from up to 18 countries. It is organized by the Ligue Européenne de Natation. The competition started in 1963 as European Cup. A change of name and format occurred in 1996, with the competition being renamed Champions League and the final four system being established as the format of choice, for the first time during the 1996–97 LEN Champions League. Water polo is a competitive team sport played in water between two teams of seven players each. The game consists of four quarters in which the teams attempt to score goals by throwing the ball into the opposing team's goal. The team with the most goals at the end of the game wins the match.
