Candlewick Green were a five piece England, English pop music, pop musical ensemble, group, formed in the 1970s. It is best known for its song, Who Do You Think You Are (Candlewick Green song), "Who Do You Think You Are" (1974), also recorded by artists such as Jigsaw (British band), Jigsaw and Bo Donaldson and The Heywoods. The group's name is an allusion to children's TV animation series ''Camberwick Green''. After winning the television talent show ''Opportunity Knocks (UK TV series), Opportunity Knocks'', Candlewick Green signed to Decca Records, and had a hit single with the song "Who Do You Think You Are (Candlewick Green song), Who Do You Think You Are?", songwriter, written by Des Dyer and Clive Scott of the band Jigsaw (British band), Jigsaw. Bo Donaldson And The Heywoods
Bo Donaldson and The Heywoods are an American pop music group, known mainly for their 1970s hit singles, "Billy Don't Be a Hero" and "Who Do You Think You Are". History The band was formed in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1965 by their leader, Robert Walter "Bo" Donaldson. They were first discovered while touring with The Osmonds in the early 1970s and signed with Family Productions, releasing their first single in 1972, "Special Someone", but their big break came after moving to ABC Records and working with the record producer Steve Barri in 1973. Kjartan Poskitt (born 15 May 1956 in York) is a British author and TV presenter who is best known for writing the ''Murderous Maths'' children's series of books. Early life and education Poskitt was born in York, England, grew up in Selby, Yorkshire and was educated at the Selby Abbey School, at Terrington Hall, North Yorkshire, and at Bootham School, York, before studying engineering at Collingwood College, Durham University. Career Poskitt was a member of a comedy group while at Durham University, and toured with it to the US in 1979, playing the piano and singing, performing skits and doing a ventriloquist act with a dummy which wouldn't speak. Mud are an English glam rock band, formed in February 1966. Jigsaw was an English pop rock band best known for their 1975 hit "Sky High". The band was fronted by the singer-songwriter duo of Clive Scott and Des Dyer for most of its life. Following Scott's death in 2009, it has been the platform for Dyer's solo work. In Australia, the group was called "British Jigsaw" due to the existence of an Australian band of the same name.
