Electoral District Of Shepparton
The electoral district of Shepparton is a rural Lower House electoral district of the Victorian Parliament. It is located within the Northern Victoria Region of the Legislative Council. The electoral district of Shepparton covers an area of 3,289 square kilometres. Shepparton includes the country towns of Ardmona, Barmah, Congupna, Dookie, Katunga, Kialla, Mooroopna, Nathalia, Picola, Shepparton, Strathmerton, Tallygaroopna, Tatura and Toolamba. The district also includes the Barmah National Park. It is a rich agricultural area with orchards, vineyards and dairy farms. Much of the electorate is an important irrigation area served by water from the Main East Goulburn Channel. The rest of the land is used for pasture, fodder crops and cattle and sheep grazing. Johan Wilfred John "Mick" Mibus, known as Wilfred Mibus or Mick Mibus (14 September 1900 – 18 April 1964) was an Australian politician. He was a Country Party representative of the electoral district of Lowan (called Borung from 1945 to 1955) from 1944 until his death in 1964. The electoral district of Lowan is a rural Victorian Legislative Assembly (Lower House) electoral district of the Victorian Parliament. It is located within the Western Victoria Region of the Legislative Council. It was initially created by the Electoral Act Amendment Act 1888, taking effect at the 1889 elections. It is the state’s biggest electorate by area, covering about 41,858 km². Lowan includes the country towns of Casterton, Coleraine, Dartmoor, Dimboola, Hamilton, Horsham, Jeparit, Kaniva, Nhill and Rainbow. Albert Dunstan
Sir Albert Arthur Dunstan, KCMG (26 July 1882 – 14 April 1950) was an Australian politician. A member of the Country Party (now National Party), Dunstan was the 33rd premier of Victoria. His term as premier was the second-longest in the state's history, behind Sir Henry Bolte. Dunstan, who was premier from 2 April 1935 to 14 September 1943, and again from 18 September 1943 to 2 October 1945, was the first premier of Victoria to hold that office as a position in its own right, and not just an additional duty taken up by the Treasurer, Attorney-General or Chief Secretary. Finlay Cameron
Finlay Arthur Cameron (22 June 1886 – 21 February 1959) was an Australian politician. He was born in Wauraltee in South Australia to farmer George Muir Cameron and Elizabeth Jane Miller. His family moved to Victoria in 1891 and Cameron attended state schools before inheriting property at Bangerang in 1909. In 1911 he married May Victoria Marshman, with whom he had seven children. As a farmer he was an executive member of the Victorian Wheatgrowers' Association from 1927 to 1932.
