The ''Canadian Travel Show'', a television series first produced for Life Network in 1996, produced 106 episodes that aired in prime time across Canada from 1996 to 2001. In all, 106 half-hour episodes were produced by husband and wife team Matt Murphy and Linda Amor. The series explored the vast country, its people, landscapes, communities and nuances. It was hosted by Ola Sturik and Holly Gillanders. Life Network
Slice is a Canadian English language discretionary service channel owned by Corus Entertainment. The channel primarily broadcasts reality shows targeting young adult women, typically dealing in subjects such as fashion and lifestyles. This channel was launched on January 1, 1995, as Life Network under the ownership of Atlantis Communications. Atlantis was acquired by Alliance Communications in 1998 and Life Network was relaunched as Slice on March 5, 2007. DTour (styled as DTOUR) is a Canadian English language specialty channel owned by Corus Entertainment. The channel was originally established by Canwest in 1997 as Prime, a cable companion to Global with a general entertainment format focusing on classic series and programming acquired from Global and CH. The Global Television Network (more commonly called Global, or occasionally Global TV) is a Canadian English-language terrestrial television network. It is currently Canada's second most-watched private terrestrial television network after CTV, and has fifteen owned-and-operated stations throughout the country.
