"Can't Stop Raving" is a song by German electronic group Dune, released in 1995 by the labels Urban, Impulse and Max Music as the third and last single from the group's debut album, ''Dune'' (1995). The female vocals are performed by Tina Lagao and Janine Kelly-Fiddes. The song achieved moderate success in Europe, entering the top 10 in Germany (7), the Netherlands (9) and Spain (4). Additionally, it was a top 20 hit in Switzerland (16). Its accompanying music video was directed by Delano Sookha. Dune (band)
Dune is a German electronic group known for songs such as "Hardcore Vibes", " Can't Stop Raving", "Are You Ready to Fly" and " Rainbow to the Stars". History The group was founded in 1995 by DJ Oliver Froning and producers Jens Oettrich and Bernd Burhoff (alias Plutone). The band's name was inspired by the science fiction film '' Dune'', based on Frank Herbert's novel of the same name. They released "Hardcore Vibes", a largely instrumental track containing spoken words by Froning's niece, and a cover version of Rozalla's song "Are You Ready to Fly" as their first two singles, followed in mid-1995 by the group's eponymous debut album, released at Urban Records. An instrumental track from the album, " Can't Stop Raving", became the third single, augmented with heavily pitched-up vocals by singer Tina Lagao. Joel Veitch (born 28 March 1974) is a British web animator, singer-songwriter, and member of the humour website B3ta. Veitch is owner of the web site RatherGood where he showcases many of his animations. Joel has also created the Mr. Stabby animations in collaboration with Jonti Picking, and his early work includes several installments of Tales of the Blode. Joel's working pseudonyms include "Crab Bloke" (which is the name of his user account on B3ta), "The Crab of Ineffable Wisdom" (used on his website), and "Stallion Explosion" (as lead singer of the band 7 Seconds of Love which he promotes heavily on his site by making music videos for them). Veitch was once threatened with legal action by Gullane Entertainment Inc. for uploading a Flash cartoon which parodied Thomas the Tank Engine.
