Campo Dei Fiori Di Varese
Campo dei Fiori di Varese is a mountain located in the northern part of Varese, Lombardy, Italy, It has an elevation of 1,227 metres. On the Eastern side of the mountain, facing Varese, sits the now-vacant Grand Hotel Campo Dei Fiori. The Art Nouveau-style hotel was designed by Giuseppe Sommaruga and opened in 1910, but subsequently closed in 1968. Between the end of October and the first week of November 2017, the park was the subject of arson that burned down around 60 acres of woodland. Lugano Prealps
The Lugano Prealps (''Prealpi Luganesi'' or ''Prealpi Lombarde Occidentali'' in Italian) are a mountain range in the western part of the Alps. They are located in Canton Ticino (southern Switzerland) and in Lombardy (northern Italy). Geography Administratively the Italian part of the range belongs to the provinces of Como and Varese, while the Swiss one is divided between the districts of Bellinzona, Locarno, Lugano and Mendrisio. Varese
Varese ( , , or ; lmo, label= Varesino, Varés ; la, Baretium; archaic german: Väris) is a city and ''comune'' in north-western Lombardy, northern Italy, north-west of Milan. The population of Varese in 2018 has reached 80,559. It is the capital of the Province of Varese. The hinterland or exurban part of the city is called ''Varesotto''. Cinque Vette Park
The Cinque Vette Park is a natural park, established by the Region of Lombardy on 19 June 2017. The park is located in the north-eastern part of the Province of Varese, in the Italian region of Lombardy. It takes the name from the main geographic features located in the park, the five mountain peaks. The project was launched with the aim of the three local councils of (Cuasso al Monte, Marzio, and Valganna) to preserve a green area and make it available for touristic-sportive-cultural initiatives above 500 meters of altitude.
