Campeonato Pernambucano
The Campeonato Pernambucano de Futebol (Pernambucan Football Championship, in English) is the football championship of Pernambuco state, Brazil, and is organized by the FPF. The first edition of the Campeonato Pernambucano was played in 1915, and was won by Flamengo de Recife, a defunct club. In the 2022 season, 10 clubs played for the title. 2022 Campeonato Pernambucano
The 2022 Campeonato Pernambucano (officially the Pernambucano Betsson 2022 for sponsorship reasons) was the 108th edition of the state championship of Pernambuco organized by Federação Pernambucana de Futebol, FPF. The championship began on 22 January and ended on 30 April 2022. In the first stage, Sete de Setembro Esporte Clube, Sete de Setembro had three points deducted for fielding the ineligible player José Ermeson da Silva Alves, Bililiu in the match Sete de Setembro v Náutico played on 1 February 2022 (2nd round). The finals were contested in two-legged home-and-away format between the defending champions Clube Náutico Capibaribe, Náutico and Retrô Futebol Clube Brasil, Retrô. Tied 1–1 on aggregate, Náutico won 4–2 on penalties, winning the tournament for the 24th time. As champions, Náutico qualified for 2023 Copa do Brasil and 2023 Copa do Nordeste. 2023 Campeonato Pernambucano
The 2023 Campeonato Pernambucano (officially the Pernambucano da Série A1 de 2023) was the 109th edition of the state championship of Pernambuco organized by FPF. The championship began on 7 January and ended on 22 April 2022. Náutico were the defending champions but they were eliminated in the quarter-finals. Originally four teams would be promoted from the 2022 Campeonato Pernambucano Série A2 and the 2023 Campeonato Pernambucano would be contested by 12 teams. On 13 November 2022, Central, Maguary, Petrolina and Porto advanced to the semi-finals of the 2022 Série A2 and were promoted to the 2023 Campeonato Pernambucano. However Petrolina were denounced before the Tribunal de Justiça Desportiva de Pernambuco (TJD-PE) for fielding the ineligible player Raykar in the match Maguary v Petrolina played on 8 November 2022 (Third stage, 1st round). The Campeonato Pernambucano 2008 is the 94th edition of the Campeonato Pernambucano. The competition was won by Sport. Format Série A1 (A1 Series) The ''Campeonato Pernambucano'' is divided into two rounds: ''Taça Tabocas e Guararapes'' (''Tabocas and Guararapes Cup'') and ''Taça Confederação do Equador'' (''Confederation of the Equator Cup''). In 2008, they will have two different formats. The Tabocas and Guararapes Cup consists of two stages. In the first, the twelve teams are divided into three groups (by geographic criteria) and play with the other teams of the same group. Central Sport Club, usually known simply as Central, is a Brazilian football club. Based in Caruaru, Pernambuco state, the club competes in the Série D. History On June 15, 1919, at Sociedade Musical Comercial Caruaruense, the club was founded by Francisco Porto de Oliveira and the club name was a suggestion by Severino Bezerra. In 1986, Central competed in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série B, which was named Taça de Prata and Torneio Paralelo. The club won its group and was promoted to the same year's first level.
