Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival
Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival, formerly known as the OFWGKTA Carnival or Odd Future carnival, is an annual American music festival and carnival curated by Tyler, the Creator and has been held annually since its inception in the fall of 2012. The camp's name is an anagram of "Wolf Gang" and also spells "Golf Wang" in reverse. It features a variety of carnival games and rides (those of which include a massive Ferris Wheel), food vendors, and a myriad of notable artists. Prior to 2016, the festival had only been held for one day. It is always held on a weekend. There is no explicit date(s) for which Camp Flog Gnaw is held. However, past carnivals have been held at either the end of October or the middle of November (with the exception of the first festival, which was held on September 30, 2012). Tyler Gregory Okonma (born March 6, 1991), known professionally as Tyler, the Creator, is an American rapper and record producer. He is one of the founding members of the music collective Odd Future. Thebe Neruda Kgositsile (born February 24, 1994), also known by his stage name Earl Sweatshirt, is an American rapper, songwriter, and record producer. Kgositsile was originally known by the moniker Sly Tendencies when he began rapping in 2008, but soon changed his name when Tyler, the Creator invited him to join his alternative hip hop collective Odd Future in late 2009. Vincent Jamal Staples (born July 2, 1993) is an American rapper and singer. Staples was once a close associate of Odd Future, Mike G and Earl Sweatshirt in particular. He is currently signed to Motown and Blacksmith Records. Eli Nathan Nachowitz (born February 28, 1978), better known as Eligh, is an American rapper and producer from Los Angeles. He is a member of the underground hip hop group Living Legends. Biography Eligh's inspiration for making hip hop music came in the mid 1980s from the film ''Beat Street'' and LL Cool J's "I'm Bad."
