Cambodia Adventist School – Kantrok is a K-9 co-educational Christian school located in Siem Reap, Cambodia. Unlike Cambodia Adventist School located in Phnom Penh, it is registered as a Cambodia Adventist Mission rural school but is operated by "Salt Ministries". The school is operated and funded by SALT Ministries. The school charges a nominal fee of US$5–20 per student per year, but many families are too poor to pay this. The Seventh-day Adventist Church is an Adventist Protestant Christian denomination which is distinguished by its observance of Saturday, the seventh day of the week in the Christian (Gregorian) and the Hebrew calendar, as the Sabbath, and its emphasis on the imminent Second Coming (advent) of Jesus Christ. The denomination grew out of the Millerite movement in the United States during the mid-19th century and it was formally established in 1863. Among its co-founders was Ellen G. Khmer Language
Khmer (; , ) is an Austroasiatic language spoken by the Khmer people, and the official and national language of Cambodia. Khmer has been influenced considerably by Sanskrit and Pali, especially in the royal and religious registers, through Hinduism and Buddhism. It is also the earliest recorded and earliest written language of the Mon–Khmer family, predating Mon and Vietnamese, due to Old Khmer being the language of the historical empires of Chenla, Angkor and, presumably, their earlier predecessor state, Funan.
